mikeler and JoelDali trololol

Joel is GHOAT and doesn't afraid of anything.

I will GOAT you while I sip on Cognac whilst I rub Judy's soft delicate red face as she admires the way my platform serve glides through the blue clay and inside of Ivan's aching wretched cavity of love exposing epic Basaltious Amplified inner fibers of a cosmic and extraordinary life.

This is water under the bridge now. Can you guys suggest something constructive for the next step instead of just insulting me?

So now I disassemble the fountain and rinse the pipes with what??

I nearly said something stupid but decided I'll say something smart instead.
FOUNTAINS ARE OVERRATED :):)

SoStupid. You shoulda used Drain-O. Acids eat up the pipes. Bases don't destroy the pipes.

Technically, you want to keep the water within a certain Langlier Saturation Index to minimize pipe corrosion. So you don't want it too acidic or basic and with sufficient alkalinity provide to provide a nice protective coating of calcium carbonate.

I am going to disassemble the fountain, place the non-electric parts into the bathtub, fill it up with warm water, drop in a soap bar and squeeze some shampoo, and forget about the whole thing for a while. I'll deal with it if and when there comes a time to take a bath or do the dishes.

I can save you the trouble, pvaudio is an athletic looking gentleman with a steadily improving and rather nice 2HBH and a loose, wristy but basically pretty good modern type FH.
(arms it a bit, but meh, decent)

he doesn't rate himself, for excellent reasons, but I reckon 4.5 would be in the zone if he can serve and contruct points like he hits groundstrokes.

Mikeler I have no clue, but I LOVE his pants size.

Chemical cleaning isn't as effective as mechanical. In other words, use a brush.

...or you can just put in new pipes. PVC pipes don't corrode.

Protective calcium carbonate? Fine, after using Drain-O, he can let the pipes soak in a solution with Tums antiacid.

You are right in a sense - it really does need to be a combination of chemical and mechanical cleaning. This morning I was so distraught over the then-defunct fountain that I took the whole thing apart. The filters around the engine were clogged with dirt and debris, as it turned out. I submerged everything (except the electrical in/out ports) into a running soapy bathtub and voila - working like a charm now.

Basic Chemistry Saves Pipes!

I have a related question on advanced piping and fountaining. It looks really cool, with the lights and everything in the dark, when I stick incense sticks between the rocks of the fountain and light them up. The ashes fall into the water though, naturally. Ashes are alkaline, so this is good for the fountain?

Well, don't know if this thread is still being used for its original purpose, but TonLars and I hit last night. By hitting, I'm implying that I was supremely rusty (two hits in the last month-and-a-half) and he was on a not 100% ankle. That being said, all I can do is hit drop shots and chip'n'charge like a madman to have a chance, and even then, phew... It was fun tho. :)

Was fun to hit Jonny, thanks! Youve got some good hands at net and some shot-making! Hopefully you can get some more hits in this winter
