Okay, watching Murray - Sousa - can this Brands guy play at all? Because I am already so sick of the BrATomic and would like someone else to take him out before the Maestro has to spank him and put him to bed.

I don't see any difference between this Tomic and the Tomic from a year ago.

Can't wait for Federer to own him.

Boy, I must say I am impressed with this Brands fellow, really like his all court game, he looks really comfortable at the net playing some really nice volleys. Nice one hander too.

I agree although he can produce some stinkers from time to time, I mean some REALLY easy misses.

Fred Stolle is really getting on my nerves (or is it John Newcombe) with his comments:

-"this time Tomic stands further back to return serve"
-"this time he stands closer to the baseline"

When tom first came on tour I had high hopes for him, but his personality is doing damage to his career, unfortunately. His brash comments about Rodge and his father's stupid predictions has not helped at all.

To the credit of Tomic, he never claimed that he was better than Brands. He merely implied that he was better than Federer.

Probably cause he thought he was going to easily defeat Brands...I feel like he's making his remarks about Federer cause he know's Federer is a much more better player than he is if that makes sense.

By just looking at match stats so far, Tomic is playing OK except his 2nd serve is getting attacked, which is his weakness I guess.
