Yeah except for the fact that Federer had to travel halfway around the world and had just come off one of the most disappointing losses in his career, and it was on the worst grass imaginable, and Federer still won. How about looking at a match like last year's AO. That will give you a better indication of what will happen if they play here.

The athleticism on display here is abysmal. Both players are moving very slugishly with sloppy unmotivated unconvincing footwork. I predict the winner of Fed-Davydenko (fed obviously but who knows...) will make short work of either Brands or Tomic in 3 easy sets.

Oh don't get me wrong, Tomic has a ton of potential, as he has greater natural tennis feel than most people on the tour, easily. And with his improved serve, I can easily see him becoming a force to reckon with. He really has to develop a stronger ground game, though.
