Only Cindy can decide that. But I can appreciate her points, because I used to hold them myself. Its just that I got a much more realistic and closer look to the situation, so I changed my views.
I was just kidding. As I said before, I may stop taking the shot in a year or two.

Yes, I plan to revive the shot in my 80s. But LeeD might need it right now even though he is only 64.

Not sure if this was an attempt at humor, but presumably he was a current employer at the time.
I saw that in another thread, someone reported that his wife contracted Guillain-Barré Syndrome after getting a flu shot. Anecdotes all-- but enough to make me less than eager to get a vaccine which could (but very well might not) protect me against one winter's worth of garden-variety flu. I'm not saying the shot is a bad idea-- just that for now I'm choosing not to get one.
I'm happy to have been vaccinated for MMR, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis, typhoid, yellow fever, etc... so I don't think my not getting the flu vaccine makes me some sort of crazy vaccine denialist.
