95d will not be replaced, and the current model is going to go out of production at december 2012. According to yonex 97 tour (in 310/330 grams ) will be the "new" 95d. Unfortunately.

This is unacceptable... the 97 tour is NOT the 95d
So what racket will hewitt use in 2013
Just got back from hitting with my 95D. Yonex shouldn't discontinue this racket.
If they do dc it I'm stocking up on four more.
confirmed: 95D discontinued, there's nothing we can do.

No microcore for the 100?
i have a 95d (w/o mcore) and an 89t (w mcore) and i do find microcore makes the top of the hoop a little more responsive and it doesn't feel so bad when you hit a bit higher up the stringbed. that being said, it's a small difference and one that shouldn't really be a deciding factor.
the biggest change for me is the implementation of Xi in the new lines. do you mind playing with a squarer racquet?
anyway. really bummed there isn't anything 90-97sqi.

The only reason it is Xi is because of the Micro Core technology on 10 and 2. Otherwise, the mould is the same. To all the 95D users, you guys better stock up!Is Xi a material or does it refer to the shape of the head? If they're changing to a more square shaped head, that sounds like a different frame than a different composition/weight/balance.
Relax, 98D and 100S still keeps the same mould.XI = eXtra Isometric = squarer shaped head
the 95d is just about as square as i can go. why yonex, why!! why do you always have to keep doing this to us!

wrains, microcore is only on 10 and 2 and shouldn't affect the frame as a whole. you'd have to have very sensitive arms to feel the difference between a racquet with and without microcore (if struck on the sweetspot).
what? where did you get that? the new line's called vCore Xi so its extra isometric (squarer head) and has micro core.
babolat revenge plays awesome in this frame.
Why does it say 'US' on the throat area? Is there a non-US version and how is it different?
Also, how is Yonex QC treating you guys? I know it's pretty good, but have been away from the brand for the couple past years so I'm not sure if the current models are as good as the old ones in this department.
Can't wait to put my hands on them!
