^^^ Dedan's avatar and the alliterative list above remind me of the boxing Boom Boom...Ray Mancini.

He was never the same fighter after the infamous D-K Kim title bout.

Boom Boom Becker, a nickname Boris did not like for obvious reasons...

(Alberto Mancini once beat Boris Becker in the Monte Carlo final)

The Spy who came in from the cold and loved me.

"Nobody Does It Better"...one of only two Bond theme songs with a different title than its matching film.

The song won the Oscar and was Carly Simon's longest charting single. It was written by Hamlisch/Sager.

^^^I will correct myself...the song was only nominated for the Oscar...beaten by "You Light Up My Life" (yuk!)

Also, Radiohead's cover of the tune is pretty damn good!

Eating pickled herring with mayonnaise on rye one night with an Altai shaman...

Corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian or 1,000 Island dressing on rye, all grilled...the classic Reuben sandwich!

Origin of this classic vary...some say an Omaha grocer named Reuben K. invented the sandwich for consumption at his weekly poker games. Others claim it got started in the early 20th century in a NYC deli and was created for a famous actress as a post-performance snack.
