Just ordered for my store.

I will post some pict if the racket arrive.

I was as big a skeptic as anyone, but I gotta say that I love mine.

Ditto! Diehard Wilson PS 6.1 95 user...picked up 03 Speedport Tour on a whim (stole it off "bay" for $20)...it sparked me to sell one of the PS to make room in the bag!

It has made the rotation as my "go to" stick when I'm facing young fit kids with fast paced loopy groundstokes and need something I can whip around a little quicker than the Wilson's to keep up. Spin is effortless, comfort/pocketing is awesome, and if caught late on the backhand side I can swipe off a deep rally saving slice at will.

The "ports" seem to just enlarge and open up the sweetspot, but I find no detriment. The sound is a little weird when you whip it through the air, kinda cool though.

I gotta say that more and more when I'm at tourneys I see high quality juniors using exo tours...and usually beating a "dime a dozen" kid using Rafa's stick!

I think Prince's problem is that as soon as these players get good enough to be sponsored, the bigger and richer manufacturers throw their money at them , and they make the switch.

Prince actually spent quit a bit of money being innovative, while the other manufacturers simply made up a new material (Basalt, Graphene, etc.) marketed the hell out of it (ie...spend cash on Pro's to paint their sticks with it), and sold you sticks that feel nearly identical to the last one.

Their "demise" financially was actually having the balls to go for a true improvement or change.

Mind you...this is coming from an avid Pro Staff fan...but black out my Classic, Hyper, N-
Code, or Kfactor and it will have no effect on which one I choose and all feel right at home in my hands. Now BLX..they somehow effed that up..hollow stiff board!

^^ their demise was building products nobody wanted, being outsold by their competitors. And they've been throwing negligibly different versions of the port racquets at us for nearly a decade, not exactly a churning hotbed of innovation.

nobody wanted? or because everyone wants Rafa's stick???

So is there going to be an ESP version of the rebel 98?

Someone posted last month that they were stringing at a tournament and one of the Prince sponsored juniors was playing with one. Maybe a one off, maybe production? That was the only reference to it I have seen, but it would make sense.

The "double bridge" technology actually dates back over 20 years.

and I forget to mention, there is a new Prince O3 Shark Midplus. it has different paint job from the old one. and slightly different spec
Head size 100sq inch
weight 290 gr
string 16x19
balance 33,5cm
it is written on the racket.
there is no side O port but still using O port in head and throat.
but there is a new tech I think in 3 and 9 a'clock it called "sweet spot expansion system" but in closer look it looks like volkl optispot.

here's the pict

complete pict will be post tomorrow.

new prince

as a longtime prince user, over 20 years, i really like the O port racquets,
finally settled on the speedport black. i have used it for the past 7 years, unfortunately i broke 5 of them, 4 in the 10 o'clock area of the hoop, one in the throat.
as i am not a racquet thrasher, i was concerned with durability, as with the port holesand grommets, there is less material and higher stress in those areas prone to breakage, reading online comments, they seem to confirm my thoughts on durability.

tried to switch to the exo3 black, in fact i have 3, but i didnt like it.
i have also demoed many others, head, wilson, babolat, trying to find
another alternative, as the speedport blacks are available, but have been discontinued

i had an extensive conversation with the LTS guy, he advised me to stock up on speedport blacks.
as he says, if you really dont like anything else, and you have tried a lot
of racquets, especially the exo3 black and exo3 warrior, then stick with the speedport blacks.
he really doesnt have an agenda, as he gets no benefit from having me buy
online racquets.

probably i will try some new prince racquets, but in the meantime i will stock up on speedport blacks.

O3 Hybrid Shark never had the O-ports on the sides and did have the "sweet spot expansion system". The later was present even on the older TT Turbo Shark. I have them both.
That weight sounds like unstrung while ballance seems to be the strung??

Prince CTS Synergy DB 26 OS was my HS weapon of choice & had the DB technology. That would be 19, 20, 21 & 22 years ago I played with that racquet. I might even have played a few years in college with it but that era (error too) was a blur---Don't fully recall my switch to the TT Bandit lol.

I have never touch the previous o3 shark mp. So i dont know if the previous one has already sweetspot expension system. The spec ia written on the racket but i think it an unstrung spec

P.S. Sorry cannot post the new O3 shark mp today. Will be post as soom as I can.

was hoping we'd get like a rebel 95 style with 16x16 but it looks like it's only going to be tweaner city with these new string patterns. I wish they'd put a more open string pattern in smaller head sizes. That would be the logical way to do it

Thank you Channy for all these pics of the two new Prince rackets!
- What is the beam width of the Tour ESP? Is it a tapered or a constant beam?
And why on earth is there no official information from Prince regarding the release of these rackets???
I mean, is Indonesia the only country where they have been released so far?

the beam width is 19-20-19 I measure it with ruler :D. I don't have any idea if it was tapered or constant, but I think it is tapered beam.

I Don't know why there is no official information regarding of the new racket. but I think it already out in south east asia. mostly because indonesia item came from singapore. and singapore is the main distributor for south east asia.

so far only this 2 racket. when there is a new racket come, my distributor will contact me. :D

idk why Prince takes so long to get these out. I wonder how many people would have been willing to buy these months ago but ended up purchasing something else because they're not going to keep waiting years and years for this.

Does anyone know if this is meant to replace the Warrior? My wife uses the Warrior, loves it, and would be disappointed to hear that it is being replaced.

I have answer your PM, waiting for your friend.

ship some over to North America. We're treated like second class citizens here :p Always last to get things

I don't think it always like that. if you know, almost all new racket that out in Indonesia is late 2-3 month from the US release date.

if you know, there is no new wilson blade in Indonesia yet. I don't know why prince is releasing the racket in Asia first.

so don't get so down. there is many thing is late in Asia. maybe only this time is asia first release than US.

That racquet looks like a smorgasbord of older Price tech and marketing. O3 is the older tech and marketing slogan before they released their Exo3 line. The sweet spot expansion system on the sides isn't new. I've got a 8 year old Price Air racquet that has those same grommets.

You want a best seller?

Here's how you do it. You take a Rebel 98 model, drop the O-ports, make it in a standard pattern and ESP version. Ka-ching.

Seriously I understand that Prince wants to stand out but the O-ports are a flop. OK, some like them but most people don't. If you want to survive you have to listen to the customers.

Hell no, most of the Prince users actually like the roundish head shape. There's always Head or Wilson for those who like more elongated haed shapes.

Yes, they need to just bring back Ignite Team in different re-incarnation with 16X16, 16x18 and 18x20 patterns. kk thnx
