Ya dink?
How can a 115 lbs'er play starting TE and OLB for a championship varsity football team? First step is rather important.
And bum leg and all, if you guys really do play tennis, you will know the bum part only bother's you about 2 out of every 3 points, so one in 3 is just fine. That one can take points off any player of any level, if it coincides with the rest of the garbage put together in an efficient manner.
FOR SURE, if I hit my wide lefty slice where I aim it, and how I hit it, I will be set up by a weak high return near the center of the court for an easy putaway volley, at ANY level.
No, I can't hit that shot every time, but neither can you.

i think there's some tomfoolery going on around this forum...their ratings, in my opinion, are actually lower.

Sure. People hit it to you all the time. Anyone who can actually play would run you ragged.

Just stop lying. You playing those football positions has nothing to do with your tennis skills now with a bum leg. And you can't be ignorant enough to think that with a bum leg that at "any" level your good for 1 of 3 points. It would matter on ANY point with a quality opponent. Yes even against a wta pro.

Lmao.

OK, I'll bite. Just curious. With your size (or lack thereof) and speed/skills, why did they play you at TE and OLB? As TE were you ever called on to block much or were you put in motion a lot or flexed out as a slot receiver? And why OLB versus blitzing you from S or CB? Not doubting you, just wondering what kind of offense and defense systems your team ran.

this is what a real 5.5 and 6.0 players hit like..I can imagine 5.0's are not too far from this..its very humbling, all of you self rated 5.0's take a good look at it and reconsider your ranking

Wow, that's some nice tennis. Thanks for posting the video. I like the way the video was done also, even though the camera isn't stationary its movement doesn't distract from the tennis action, and the camera perspective shows the power and control of these players. Very well done all around, imo.

The top tier national 4.5b/c guy would hang just fine with these clowns.

Anything below 7.0 is rec tennis.

I think I can compare tennis skill level vs level

You may. The problem is you have no clue what you're talking about. The guys in the OP are legit 5.5 players. Your kids would get smashed at the age of 14/16 by the OP video serves and power...

i disagree

the guys in the video are playing for fun just going for shots, and the camera is super low with a loud echo on the quite courts making it seem faster and louder.

I'm a top 10 ranked national player, and my opinion is those jr's could hang and possibly beat the old farts. Certainly the 16yr old would beat both those guys no problem.

What is your tennis level or qualifications?

I could be wrong, and we will never know so its a waste of time talking about it really.

I am #11 nationally ranked, so, you beat me there.
However, I disagree on the 14 year olds with those serves would hold many games against these guys...

I was watching the top 3.0 guy in Westchester training earlier today with his part time coach and his movement was close to, if not better, than most of the clowns in these videos.

What is his national ranking? Higher my #12 national ranking?

Tennis is not a sport until the 7.0 level.

If you're a 5.5 and you act tough and badass in front of 4.0 players and their girlfriends you should be ashamed.

Just wanted to add some input to this thread. The difference in watching tennis live vs video is pretty huge. The guys in this video are definitely 5.0+.

The junior orange bowl tournament is going on this week as we speak. And I have seen a lot of the top juniors in different age groups play. Sure if you compare the video to watching 10 and under kids playing live, it may seem like even the 10 year olds play better than these guys.

But the truth is the guys in this video would crush just about all the juniors except for the 18 and under. Now the 18 and under that's a different story.

Do me a favor and get a video of yourself playing. You claim to be a top 10 ranked national player. So let's go ahead and see how good you look on video. You can talk the talk all you want but...
You know where I am going with this.

You posted an article with your name on it here. http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showpost.php?p=7948057&postcount=1

So I looked up USTA rankings since I was curious.

According to google if you type his name plus USTA, gut4tennis is a 12 year old boy who apparently can also drive an automobile.

I agree with most of what you say.

Also in the video those guys are just playing the amount of tennis equal to a super breaker. They can pick the best super breaker and post it. I would like to see these guys in a video where they play a real match, where more strategy and endurance comes into play.

I just got back from a big national tournament where every match was recorded by competiveedgevideo.com

I beat a few good players and bought($40 each) 3 of the the matches( no sound)
One guy had this past pro record
Career Singles (ATP*/WTA Tour and ITF Pro Circuit main draw) 10 18
Career Doubles (ATP*/WTA Tour and ITF Pro Circuit main draw) 21 25
Career Singles (ITF Pro Circuit main draw) 10 17
Career Doubles (ITF Pro Circuit main draw) 17 22

I will post the videos when they finally get sent to me. My record of winning sectional championships for the past 15 years is available for all to see. I'm a mid 5.0, but if I play bad its a 4.5 day. Any 5.5 will beat me 8 out of 10 times.

On video My game is not that impressive since I'm not a big hitter, but I find a way to win and expose a weakness.

So you're a rising 5.0 who is a 4.5 on a bad day. What if you're wearing a Rogi Nike Polo on a bad day? Would you then be a falling 5.0 and not a rising 4.5?
