Probably New racket might be nothing like Fed's actual racket.

So they combined all 3 names that I suggested into one model?

"Autograph", "Pro Staff", and "Roger Federer (RF)"?

So do I get royalties on each one sold? ;-)

I trust you will be happy with an Autographed (personally by RF) Pro Staff!;)

...though I am still hoping for him to revert back to his 90.:-|

I wonder if it will have this logo that we suggested on it?

I hope Wilson doesn't stop making the ProStaff 90 line though for people that prefer the smaller head and the box beam frame.

I will continue buying into their box beam 90s (to the nth iteration; some I will skip of course, like I did with nCode).

Federer's frame doesn't look like 22mm beam width..?

12 ounces unstrung?
Hmmm.... that means its about the same weight as the 90s.
Interesting its 97 inches..but makes sense they want to differentiate it clearly from the blade like another poster pointed out.
Cant wait to see the color scheme :)

Like I said repeatedly and was ridiculed,,,,,,, 22mm beam width.

I never saw those posts regarding it, but i did see some posts suggesting 19mm and thought that was much thinner than Federer's frames appeared to be. To me, it always seemed as if he may have tried Tommy Haas' frames (whatever they are, cant remember), liked the general feel, and implemented a different throat (more like his Pro Staffs), PWS, and a 16x19 pattern. But since the Prestige frames that Haas uses are 21mm, 22 doesn't sound far off, all things considered.

I'd have agreed with you.

With a much bigger head and the same static weight, the swingweight may very well be much higher than that of the Tour 90 (assuming similar balance and weight distribution). This thing could be a monster!

Ohhhhhhhh damn! Time to get a part-time job just for this racquet :D

I'm a bit disappointed that the beam is so thick, but what can you do. Looking forward to playing it though :)

August was the plan. But they only got the idea for "RF Autograph" from BreakPoint two weeks ago and had to scrap their previous plans for decals and such. (The originally planned cosmetic was nearly all gold to maximize sales in China and other developing economies; but the new, BreakPoint-inspired, cosmetic is satin black with very tasteful decals reminiscent of Wilson's historic Autrograph lines.) These very important changes have pushed the launch date beyond the US Open. Sad, but at least we won't be getting hideous gold leaf nouveau riche monstrosities. Thanks, BP!

thats true, strung it will be at least 12.5-12.6oz, that sounds pretty hefty for a 97sqin racquet

seems to be to my liking, I love it :D

I may test the lighter version just to see if I can lead it up more effectively (in case the balance and weight distribution of the heavy version is off for me).

I would be be willing to wait for another whole year not to get a hideous gold colored monstrosity.
