Kal-El:

A little late, but thanks for the email reply. I was able to ask Stan for set of that new string. I've been hitting with it for a couple days now. It seems to be a new tour bite or something. It's definitely softer than tour bite :)( ), but much better than tour bite soft.

so why the babolat logo?

Because Pete Sampras had the Babolat logo on his PS 88 (even though that's the KPS 88, which was meant for him too). Pete Sampras used Babolat natural gut as his string, this guy didn't, so I don't get why he put the Babolat stripes logo. Probably to emulate Pete?

For those of you having trouble shooting pictures, there is a macro mode on most modern cameras. The logo looks like a "flower." If you press the button, and nothing happens, turn your mode to camera logo instead of green auto. This might also be listed as P (program) on certain cameras... most phone/point and shoot cameras have AWESOME macro capabilities...

Sorry for the poor quality in the first 2 pics. If i remember well the camera was set in "Text Mode", that's why it didn't come exactly as planned. Won't happen again.

Not at all a criticism, just a tip so the submissions are better for posterity's sake ;)

Trick or treat colors strung this past October. Wilson nTour 95 and father in laws Dunlop 600 OS with Kirshbaum super smash and Gosen OG Sheep

^^^ Nice to see those pictures of the Rossignol F200! I once played with this racquet and loved it. So flexible, yet solid, with lots of power and plow-through. Also really liked the open 16 x 17 string pattern, it made topspin shots so easy.

Which strings have you been using in the Rossignol?

I picked up the Rossignol F200 off of thee bay, I restrung it. I haven't had a chance to hit with it.

Curious to hear what you think of it. Every once in a while I hit with my F200, and each time I am impressed how well it plays. Great racquet. Spin, Power, Forgiveness. The APD of the 1980ies (but much softer on the arm, of course).

I'm in Alberta, Canada & we got snow, so next spring I'll try it out.

No indoor tennis center anywhere near?

Try stringing the syn gut 3 pounds higher than the Cyclone. The strings' stiffness will match better and the string bed will feel more uniform.

Picked up a second Yonex to compare the Cyclone to Cyclone Tour. I quite like the red over the black however :(

Volkl Cyclone Tour 17 @ 50lbs / Klip Synthetic Gut 16 @ 48.5 lbs

Going on from before, the Cyclone has broken in nicely and I quite prefer it over this now....eep!

Interesting! Not the most common string for a cross, but I suppose it's edges are not so sharp that it'll cut the gut but I can not see the benefit? Tell me how it feels any way :)

Its edges not being sharp is the only reason I even considered it :p

Also, its characteristics as a string are interesting. Soft and lively, yet it has a firm (crisp) and defined feel. Quite slick and durable, so it should promote string movement and not dent. We'll see how it does, but it should be interesting.
