I haven't had a problem with durability with Polystar Energy in my KPS's. I find it to be the same as using Luxilon, Blue Gear, Black Code etc.. and I've used at least half a reel of the stuff.

You lace it just like any shoe from the inside out.. you are just going to have to use some pressure to get the lace thru the hole and out.

I prefer the Barricades hands down. I do have a wider foot and I encounter the problem that everyone has with the plastic side digging into the side of your foot. The arch on the genius seem to be higher than the barricades also. I'd say they are both the same as far a durability.

Everything on there looks legit, except for the weight. I have both k90's that say "Karbon Black" and "Karophite Black", and a head guard that has the Wilsontennis.com too. I believe the weight should be 12.0 or 12.3 strung, my k90's are in the garage so I don't have access to them currently.

i'm not asking whether it is a lot of wear or not. What I'm asking is if anyone has claimed warranty with that amount of wear. I probably wouldn't mind, but the upper seam of the shoe is coming apart in the forefoot.

Trust me I do, but these damn shoes are heavy up in the front for a reason. There is just too much rubber in the front. I've worn down the tread, now all I do is slide like Monfis.

I have Court Ballistics 1.3's and I'm wondering if anyone has sent in these shoes, or any Nike shoes with just wear on the heel? My outer heels are both worn out to the mid of the shoe, does this count for warranty or do I need to have the forefoot area worn through?

By far the CB 1.3's are the best. I go through barricades in 2 months. I've had the 1.3s for about 4 and they are still going strong. Tread is wearing, but the shoe still has a lot of cushion. I play like 5-6 days a week, for 3-5 hours or even more.

I am not a big fan of the x-1 either. It felt stiff in my k90 @ 49 pounds and the string slides like crazy too.

Gut may prolong the life of the poly, but the poly will cut thru that gut. especially if its is textured and rough like ALU rough or blue gear
