Wait is the final already over? Normally matches in America aren't finished till much later, what I remember from Montreal/Cincy/USO.

Guess players have to get to Montreal. But it's weird how they play so many late matches and then the final is scheduled early. Not just Citi. A lot of tournaments.

I do feel a bit sorry for Isner. Can't stand his style of play but he does seem like a genuinely nice guy and this was the third time he's lost here in the final. Here's hoping he finally wins the tournament next year. :)
It is kinda awkward to watch him play. Anyway, another baseline warrior won today. Watch out Djoko. He is coming to get ya :D

Congrats to The Tokyo Express 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 , BLNT Isner. 10th Title for Nishikori and 500 ATP points, Isner gets 300 ATP points.

Cheers

Hey man, when you really, truly love the game, you'll watch any level of tennis!

Nah, that isn't true for everybody. I watch to see the best players compete their hearts out. I am not interesting in seeing players who don't do that constantly.

You missed it man. He is not as tall as Djokovic but his return against the BIG John was nice to watch. He picked most of John's first serve and returned well (considering he is slightly below 6 feet).
I watched the highlights, some nice backhands from Kei

There is something though ... how are you supposed to return that serve from Isner at 2:46 without stepping back 5 meters behind your line? lhaha

If only Kei could use Chans longer racquet skills! yet this would ruin the strengths Kei has in taht he is very compact and racquet head speed and control is important in his game.

Those that really and truly love the game that we dont want to see serve bots or hacker pushers.
we have mainly those 2 and the rest eg. s&v and net rushers are no where near the top rankings.
