Just watched the Ryan Harrison/Querrey highlights from a few days ago. Never seen Harrison play such a high level. He was peaking there.
It's very strange for me that both DY and Harry are redlining in the very same tournament and it's taken both of them beyond ten years since I met and strung for them in Futures level events. And they're both young enough they can take this momentum, latch onto it and do some damage in their late 20s.

That same era when I met them, I also strung up sticks for VEB but he was almost their current age as he was taking those steps in the Futures. Maybe they can gain some perspective on longevity from VEB's struggles and play into their mid-30s with enthusiasm.

Wow. Cool to hear that you strung for them. Ryan seems nice I've heard mixed things about Donald, not sure if true.

It was amazing how Young was returning Isner's serves. They did both peak this week.

The Donald did have that win over Wawrinka at the Open a few years ago.

Harry went through some growing up in his late teens/early 20s and seems very mellow now. When I met him, he was 16 and very respectful and fairly quiet.

I didn't really deal with DY directly too much...mostly his dad or mom, whichever one was traveling with him. He had way too much pressure put on him from that JMac projection when he was 14. None of his family really knew how to drive that expectation train and it derailed without the proper engine man.

Would really like to see Harrison finally play up to his potential. Surprised that DY beat Isner, but Isner played poorly and is definitely on the decline. Hope Harrison wins the tourney.

Wow just watched the highlights. I cannot believe that Donald beat Isner. He played so well and has great technique. I know he's not the youngest player anymore (but he is the Young-est...), but I hope he can move forward maybe into the the top 20 even. Seriously, he has some great shots.

Agree. He's got such a clean looking game when he is in good form.

Done deal with Basilashvili beating Kukushkin...another first-time winner in Memphis.

Nice run by the Georgian...takes some of the Thiem sting away from @Meles pin cushion rear end, ar (Georgian for "no")???

Dang, Ryan Harrison is in some serious form this season. Been racking up straight-set wins like a man possessed. Will win the slems.

Basilashvili is playing some very aggressive tennis.

What da hell.

Did Harrison save 10/10 BPs in the second set, did I get that right? Insane stuff either way.

Congrats to him on the title, and back to career high ranking after all this time and struggle – that's quite nice and inspiring to see actually.

Great to see Harrison winning. I hope he keeps improving though. He needs to make a few changes to his game to get into top 30.

Congrats to Harrison on winning his maiden ATP title and becoming the first home winner in Memphis since Roddick in 2011! He seemed to have been knocking on the door a lot in the last couple of years and now has finally broken through. Coming on the back of his recent Challenger win it looks as if he may finally be starting to fulfil that long awaited potential so many had predicted for him. Wonder if this will prove to be the springboard he so badly needed?

OMG Ryan Harrison!!! Berlocq made my week pushing Nishikori to three, but Harrison has him beat slightly with this one!
How about The Dog making Ninjakori commit hari kari? Nothing left in the tank after the battle with the Argentine Incredible Hulk.

Together, the three winners this week penned a possible hit, "The Harry Dog Tsong"!

He did save all this break points. I'm happy Ryan won the match but it was only because Basilashvili refused to come to net. NB was on the offensive the whole match and RH was running everywhere just to keep balls in play. Credit goes to Harrison for playing great defense, but NB could have and should have easily won this match if he'd come into to net to cut off all those defensive shots of Harrison's. Truly, it might have been a really ugly loss..... Like a 6-2,6-0 .
