Right. But this Medvedev seems like a different player. He is moving far better and playing much better defense vs earlier this clay season.Umm he beat him in Madrid

He is returning on some points as is if he knows where Opelka will go.Medvedev has already earned 13 BPs in just Reilly's 7th service game.
Opelka an absolute mug.

Sure, it's possible. That match is probably close to a toss up, but the way Medvedev is playing maybe he is actually favored. What do you think of the Garin match? Is it possible he pulls it out?
How does 2021 Roland Garros champion sound?I always knew that Mdvdv was a clay specialist.

It’s between him and Isner. How does 2021 Roland Garros champion sound?
I kid, I kid
You could say the same for a lot of pros. A lot of these players lack a dominant aggressive forehand for first strike tennis. If Medvedev had a point ending consistent weapon( which I think he needs to work on, he can do it with his FH) he will be unstoppable on any surface.

Let them go 4+ hoursIn the Giron-Garin match, it's now tied a set apiece after Garin came out on fire. Giron managed to close out the second set 7-5.
The most undeserved #1 of all time. No slam wins. The most recent slam final in which he got absolutely humiliated.Meddy playing well. He could be world no1 by the end of this tournament.
I'm becoming more convinced it's happening, bar a Novak RG 2021 title. The most undeserved #1 of all time. No slam wins. The most recent slam final in which he got absolutely humiliated.
Everyone would know who the true king is. I hope Medvedev NEVER gets to #1. Unless he wins a slam, which I don't think will happen.
How? It can only happen if:I'm becoming more convinced it's happening, bar a Novak RG 2021 title.
I mean after Wimbledon. Not after RG.How? It can only happen if:
1) Nadal beats Novak in the SF.
2) Medvedev beats Titspas/Zverev to get to the final.
I would say that 2) is even more unlikely than 1). Novak has a better chance of beating Nadal, than Medvedev has of beating Titspas/Zverev. The latter 2 have been really in form this clay season.
And while I love what Medvedev is doing in RG 2021, he will be flummoxed when he faces a decent clay court player.

Forgot to add /sNot this year and i still don’t think clay is his favorite surface.
Could you please provide some scenarios. I haven't done the research. What would Medvedev need to do in Wimbledon to get to #1?I mean after Wimbledon. Not after RG.
So Med was losing in first rounds during the whole clay season and now he is suddenly in form? And some still think it is not a red hardcourt?
During the real clay tournaments he also didn't face titans in first rounds, you know.Who has he played? A bunch of mugs!
Hows Medvedev playing? That great or Reilly sucking?
