Having to dodge so many trap matches. Andreescu had a match point or two didn't she? Now it's going three.
This one’s all over but the handshake now.

Yeah but I took Andreescu 2:0 pre match and cashed it out before the first set even finished. This one’s all over but the handshake now.
From Romanian talent bud...Emma and Bianca:
Romanian heritage, born in Canada, U.S. Open winners as teenagers coming
from nowhere ...
Golubic plays Kalinskaya next and then the winner of Collins-Jabeur. She could potentially land up in the QF. She has never been past the second round in the Masters before (so this is already her best showing at that level). But she DID make the Wimbledon QF this year. And incidentally she beat Collins en route that time...
No, I LOVE Jabeur. But I will be the first to admit she is streaky and lacks the solidity Golubic has shown so far in this tournament. So a potential Jabeur-Golubic match could be dangerous. If anything, Collins is a better hustler even though she lacks Jabeur's variety..You don't like Jabeur?
Funny that the defending champ didn’t make the list. Fair, but funny. So, after three rounds, Tennis Abstract still has this as a wide open tournament.
To win the tournament percentage:
9.0% Barbora Krejcikova
8.8% Elina Svitolina
8.6% Karolina Pliskova
8.5% Anett Kontaveit
7.5% Ons Jabeur
6.9% Simona Halep
6.6% Iga Swiatek
5.6% Victoria Azarenka
5.5% Petra Kvitova
5.2% Jessica Pegula
She made the list, just has a paltry 1.5%. Didn't feel like listing all 32 players, lol.Funny that the defending champ didn’t make the list. Fair, but funny.
1&0 is a heck of a beatdown. Starting to look like 2020 RG.Swiatek destroying Kudermetova. Thought that would be closer.
Yes that was implied with the 'Romanian heritage'.From Romanian talent bud...
I'm going to make a wild prediction. Halep wallops her!Patiently waiting the Stadium 2 match up - Sasnovich - Halep match! Will Halep be able to revenge Emma or is Sasnovich really peak good?
And 2021 Rome final1&0 is a heck of a beatdown. Starting to look like 2020 RG.
Tiebreak time. Pretty great match!Svitolina takes the second set 6-4!
Yes! But Sorana is like 4/16 on break pointsTiebreak time. Pretty great match!
..and immediately loses her minibreak. Man, some great points this tiebreak.Yes! But Sorana is like 4/16 on break points
Don't like Collins playing?Just me I guess, but I love watching Cirstea, Badosa and Kontaveit play. Wait… is it because they’re all great looking?
Collins with her stomach pooch and slight overbite can be good certain times… Also Muchova cleans up really well.Don't like Collins playing?
Watching Ostapenko, she is such nutcase, hit the ball out like 20 cm and decided to challenge.
When replay was finished camera zoomed on Putintseva laughing.
The courts seem slow paced and ball bounce looks springy so suits Igas game quite well!Swiatek has become underrated. She has some monstrous stretches, albeit not necessarily in the biggest matches, where she looks utterly dominant.
One should pay attention when players are able to totally destroy decent competition.
The picture of her I saw with bikini on did not show any pooches, just very nice curves!Collins with her stomach pooch and slight overbite can be good certain times… Also Muchova cleans up really well.
Sasnovich up 5-3 1st set, Halep is serving!
Halep breaks Sasnovich serve, 5-5!
Hella jumping backhand by Sassy to take the set.
