4G Soft question

Playtesters,

Do you think 4G Soft will feel as stiff as Max Power at the same tension?

I played a gut/poly hybrid the other day. Gut mains strung at 53 and Max Power crosses strung at 49. And it felt as stiff as a board. So now I'm considering grabbing a pack of 4G Soft to use as a cross and see if perhaps I'll get the tension maintenance I'm looking for and a softer feel.

What do you think?

I think that will help to provide a softer feel. 4G Soft is still slightly on the firmer side of the spectrum for polys, but should feel softer than the Kirschbaum Max Power.
