A player in between Djokovic and Wawrinka?

Who is a player with stokes and a game from both Djokovic and Wawrinka? Can be single or double handed backhand players. So basically an aggressive baseliner who is a better defender, mover and better return of serve than Wawrinka. Or a Djokovic type player but with even heavier and more aggressive groundstrokes.

I think Thiem fits the bill pretty well. Any others?

I am confused. If you take away the OHBH from that player what are you looking for as a reference to Wawrinka: checkered shorts?

Federer fits for me at least modern version of Fed. Great backhand and shotmaking like Wawrinka plus good return and defensive skills like Djokovic. Plus Wawrinka also has big serve too and is decent at the net.

Tsitsipas - but he needs Stan's patience, power and tactical prowess. Better youtuber, though.

Borg. Nadal.
Of others that are close to it perhaps Safin, since he covers a bit more ground with those long legs than Stanislas(not as much as Djoko, of course). Or fit and in the mood Nalbandian, although he used his groundstrokes for constructing the points more often than for hitting heavy winners. Agassi, who defends better than Wawrinka thanks to his excellent anticipation. Even Davydenko, he hit pretty hard and offensive, despite of his frame.

Think Safin or Agassi are very good examples. Of these Safin more as he also has a semi western forehand grip.
