Andy Murray attracts a lot of criticism for playing too defensively - especially in his defeats in Grand Slams. Who else would be considered as a naturally defensive player? Not many come to mind.

Monfils [pusher mode]
Nadal - only to an extent

Who else, of the current players, would fall into this category? The only others I can think of include lower ranked players like Cipolla...

Nadal is not really a defensive player in my book. He hits with a lot of safety margin, but he still tries to move his opponent around.

I agree, but sometimes he reverts to retrieving and hitting winners with passing shots, so you could argue that he is primarily an intrinsic counterpuncher.

Murray just needs to stop because he's actually good agressive... the others, it's kjust part of their game plan
