adding weight to handle

I'm not a pro at this so maybe someone can give you better instruction. But the way I do it is by removing the grip and butt cap and then add weight inside the handle. Chances are, there will be some unused space inside. As for what to use as the weight, I've heard that some guys use fishing weights but I use nails and if needed, I wrap addition lead tape around it. Then to finish, I take some old overgrip (some use cotton) and wrap that around the nail/lead tape combo to cushion it on the inside. I put the butt cap back on (make sure it's very secure) then I usually replace the grip with a new one. If you have some double sided tape, you can reuse the old grip.

I have a couple other suggestions. First buy yourself a digital postage scale from an office supply store. It should be able to display and ounces and grams. this is the one I have: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=752861

another suggestion is that you weigh and balance the racquet with the additional weight (and approx cushioning material) on the outside of the racquet prior to removing the grip and cap so you know the final balance and weight ahead of time. It probably won't be exact but it will be very close.

Good Luck.

I just take off the grip and wrap lead tape directly on the handle. Sure, this increases the grip size, but not by much. Techniques for putting weight inside the handle have to be watched carefully so that the weight is firmly stationary and cannot vibrate or move around. When you put lead tape on the handle it becomes part of the racquet.

I responded to moosryan's post on the LM Rad and mine has lead tape all the way up the handle, under the grip.

A small section of lead tape is going to increase the grip between 1/32-1/16 of an inch, really nothing, and definitely something you can adjust to.

I don't see why you need to put the lead tape *under* the buttcap, but rather a little higher up above the buttcap.

I remove endcap, fill a bridge across with liquid silicone about 1 inch
from end to stop weights moving forward into cavity.
Then use small fishing weights until I reach required feel.
Once correct weight is determined I use some more liquid silicone,
just to glue the lead pieces together and secure them against the
other silicone which will have hardened
out by then. Replace endcap and grip and nothing will come loose,
no matter how hard you hit that ball. The weights will in an absolutely
permanent position, and the silicone may also help absorbing
vibration.

I put it on my grip and then put an overgrip over the lead tape and its worked fine for me. I put the lead tape all around the grip so not to make one side stick out.

put acoin or lead under the overgrip above the hand, towards throat. I find the racket vibrates if u put lead on the end of the rac.

Yes, I found myself that Wilson Prostaff 6.0 with lead in the buttcap vibrates on serves especially.
