to me, the adidas tirand II and the barricade IV's look pretty much the same.

welll ya,the design for the tirand II are based on the BIV. The firsdt Tirands looked like the BIII's.

Yes, this is true. Unless you look carefully you could easily mistake the Tirand for the Barricade. Personally, I wish adidas had not done this.

Its all about the marketing. They figure if they put this cheaper version yet not as advanced pair of shoes on the market a lot of people will buy them because of the price. Its like having a recreation racquet made by a players racquet company.

At a quick glance the adidas a3 prevail kind of look like the barricades cept in a diff. color. But the tirand 2 look more alike.
