Adidas shoes Fit vs nike (or most others)

Well I bought a pair of Adidas.... Size 12.5, my usual.....
They seem to be slightly longer than other brands.... then I notice:
adidas 12.5 US= 12.0 UK and 30.5cm (JPN)
Hmmmm but Nike 12.5us= 11.5UK, and 30.0cm.....

SO I go to my local store and try 12's and they fit.... but then then the seem tighter around the mid section..... grrrrrr

can anyone tell me what they buy in adidas VS others? as im debating whether to use them or return them?

Different shoes have different fits, even within the same brand.
I am wearing US9.5 in Barricade but US9 in Feather.

I wear a US12 (UK11.5) in all Adidas, from Barricades to running shoes. I wear a US11.5 (UK10.5) in Nike. So this is a full UK size difference and the opposite to how your feet feet, go figure. If I were you I'd stick to the 12.5 as you'll get used to them fairly quickly and may even prefer the fit once you play, though only you know how your feet feel.

4.3 fit narrow, AMC are really wide, V9s somewhere in the middle. Barricades 7 fit tighter than the 8s, and Feathers 2 a bit wider in the toe box. I always find Adidas shoes run on the shorter side, even with their soccer shoes, always have the toe touching in the end of the shoe.

i went with the 12s, and just keep the laces loose infront
