Anybody here who used AEF CM7 stringing machine before? How is the quality of this stringing machine? Does it last long? How is it compared to Wilson Baiardo or other high end stringing machine?

Looks like a decent machine.
I would wonder who would service or supply parts,
Say the LCD screen goes bad, where would you get one? If you know who services it and reasonable price for machine, then fine.

It says it has 2 years warranty.

I read that AEF is a Chinese stringing machine manufacturer based in Xiamen.

My machine was originally distributed by SAM . It is their Pro Master machine. Basically an identical rebranded machine to the older Wilson machine used in 2006 and 2007 US open. SAM distribution for stringing machines then was sold to xtremesportsmachines. There Pro Master was identical to my machine, and they supplied service and parts, even though they were in Australia, I was able to get a replacement LCD screen with in 2 weeks. Now Xtreme is gone, and if I had any issues, most likely I would be out of luck. I even inquired with Wilson as they had identical machine, and they have no service or parts as they did not make it, just sold it with Wilson name.
Fortunately machine has worked flawlessly for good number of years now, but if it goes down, without parts and service, I would be looking at getting a replacement machine. This is why I continuously look at machines available, as if mine does go down, I would be getting a replacement.
Don't over look service and parts available for future. If it says 2 year warranty, are they going to be around for 2 years, and 2 years goes by fast
I assume you are looking at this machine because of a cheap price, but as such something is typically shortchanged.
BTW, that picture of the machine looks very similar to my machine.

If my machine went down anytime soon, and no parts or service, I would most likely go to Alpha, as their Ghost machine has decent features, comes in at a reasonable price point, and Alpha has great reviews on service and has been around for a good while. I am always looking, as I know something eventually will break down with mine at some point, hopefully it will be a while.

I've been browsing through stringing machines. They have spinfire brand machines where I live. They are imported from China and rebranded.

Costs 880 AUD in Alibaba.
Costs 5495 AUD in Australia.

Crazy!!!!!!

I seen one just the other day on Alibaba. Careful about shipping and customs. Let us know if you get one.

Just looked at alibaba, the people offering the Ghosts seem ultra honest and above board and not at all like scammers. Wouldn't worry in the least ordering from them:eek:
