Aeropro Control vs Pure Storm Tour

I hit some serves with the Pure Storm Tour and was very impressed. Overall I found it to be a very impressive racquet. While browsing some specs the Aeropro Control looked interesting. I always found the APD and APDC to be quite hollow feeling and had very little plow through. For anyone here that may have used the Tour and the Aeropro Control STD could you compare the two?

i just bought pst and i am a little torn apdc is a little better at ground strokes while pst is amazing for serves.

I agree about the serves. I have been serving some bullets with the PST. I owned a pair of the AP Controls about 2 years ago but hardly gave them a fair chance as I was so hooked on midsized frames back then. I wish I had played with the more before trading.

I will make this easy for you. aeroprocontrol is NEVER the answer.

Yeah - the Aeropro control just seems a little off - too stiff, too heavy in the head, weird string pattern. There is a reason they retired that racquet.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe there was a reason I only hit with it twice and traded them off.

I had a couple of APCs a while back and thought the same thing as Nellie. However, my friend said I hit the heaviest with them; unfortunately I was too scared to keep them since they were already strung with poly and I was already hitting long with them. Had I strung them with my normal natural gut hybrid I'd hit everything long.
