Alpharetta Tennis Warehouse location

I noticed today that there is a Tennis Warehouse location on the same street I work off of. Is this a retail location (couldn't determine for sure online) and do they have an indoor place to demo - a half court with a wall, etc?

Thanks!

@taylor15

Small world :) Yes, we are your new neighbors!

We do have a retail store at our Alpharetta location and it is now "officially" open for both Tennis Warehouse and Running Warehouse for those customers that want to purchase on site. There is not a tennis court or demo area though unfortunately. And we do not yet have demos available from that location. BUT we do have same day stringing for $15 as well as some used racquets (with a 30 day money back guarantee).

The current hours for the store are Monday through Friday only, 10am-5pm. We will eventually expand to weekends as we continue to grow. Feel free to come by and say hello and pick up some gear!

The address is:
1295 Bluegrass Lakes Pkwy
Alpharetta, GA 30004

Hope that helps -- let us know if you have any further questions,

Michelle, TW

I’m looking forward to come by sometime this week and check it out. Could you guys tell me what’s inside the store? Like what are things that we can buy in the store? Does it have everything as like TDub Cali?

David Le,

The retail store should have everything from racquets, shoes, strings and apparel. While it won't have every single item on the website, it should have most items (it is virtually fully stocked). If we have stock of the item in our Alpharetta warehouse, you will have access to it in our retail store there.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

AutoXer,

We are still planning to have the retail shop open on weekends but at this time I can't give a date.

taylor15,

Alpheratta location is back open but is only currently running as a show room. You can go in and look/try on. You can place an order and it will deliver next day. We are hoping to have it running again as a full retail store soon.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

Damn I was hoping you would move it to Indiana so I could quit paying sales tax. LOL
GA changed sales tax law so you need to pay sales tax even if you buy items from out of state purchase.
There is an exception but hard to qualify since majority of stores sell over 200 items per a year unless very small business.

“Under Georgia's new law, online retailers that make at least $250,000 in sales or 200 individual sales a year in Georgia must either collect and remit to the state sales taxes on purchases or send “tax due” notices each year to customers who spend at least $500 on their sites”

Hummm that being true I just Amazon does not make $250,000 in sales, or have 200 individual sales a year in Georgia. I would have never guessed that.

No stringing services?

@BHold81 saw you liked my post, I called today and was told no more same day stringing. They said it would be multi day turnaround as they would have to ship the racquet back. Appears there must be some legal or licensing issues going on for retail sales.

I actually went there to buy some strings, grips, and get stringing the day they had gotten the news from the city. Had something to do with zoning. They said they were trying to work it out, but it would probably be a while. It's too bad, they were really nice and helpful there.

I wished I would have read these latest posts. I sent my wife to the location today, 45 minutes from my house to pick up some strings. She was told the same thing. I had to place my order online and she will have to go back tomorrow to pick up my order. What a cluster! I was hoping I could place online order and she could pick it up while she was there, but no go, 4 to 5 hour processing time, (n)

I was told they would have to ship to me. Let me know if they allow her to pick up an online order, that’s more helpful than nothing

@taylor15,

Good news! Everything should be sorted out with our retail location in Alpharetta! So yes, you should be able to pick up your order *if* the products are in stock!

And if you're in the area or at the tournament, come say hi at the BB&T as we are on site and have a small retail spot!

Best,

That’s great news! Is it sorted now, or is there a date it will be ready?

AutoXer,

Unfortunately, retail is still closed on weekends. We are hoping to get Saturday hours in the next few months.

Thanks,

I visited the retail store over the summer. Showroom was not very big but was nice. Was able to look up virtually any item on the website and they brought me the actual item so I could see in person. Ended up buying some shoes and shirts. People were awesome and the whole experience was great.

@TW Staff, Is there a RDC machine that I could bring my racquets in to check the RA and SW? My local tennis shop doesn’t have one and I‘d check other tennis retailers around the area and same luck.

David Le,

Sorry for the delay. Yes, we do have an RDC machine in our Alpharetta location. I have given our retail there a head's up and they will be expecting you.

Thanks,
Brittany

Thanks Brittany! I’ll have to stop by sometime this week or next. I’ve been busy with work and reamping the house lately.

Is the store still open to customers? I'd like to come by Monday or Tuesday and try on a bunch of shoes. Diadora appears to have stopped making the model that fit my Hobbit feet and now I need to find a replacement.

jcgatennismom,

Yes, we have both the 2015 and 2018 grommets in stock at our Alpharetta location. The retail store is currently only open for curbside pickup so you would need to place your order over the phone or online and use the retail/walk-in option.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

I didn't even realize there was a Georgia location. Makes perfect sense instead of shipping everything from CA. Are those the only two TWs?

For Tennis Warehouse, we have the California and Georgia locations. There is also Tennis Warehouse Europe in Germany and Tennis Only in Australia.

Thanks,

I'm looking for grommet sets for my Babolat Pure Strike 98 sq in, 16x19 2017 (Project One7). Is stock and product availability at the Alpharetta location reflected on the Tennis Warehouse USA website, or is CA & GA stock/availability kept separate? Online, and when I call the 1-800 number, I was told Tennis Warehouse does not have any of this model's grommets (not sure which location's stock is being reported).

Is the product no longer being manufactured by BABOLAT? Or is TW simply choosing not to carry it? I found TW-Europe had three, which I ordered, but it's a longer wait for shipping.

Grommets are available what you see from the website at the both locations. The ‘20 Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 grommets will fit with the P17 PS 16x19, but the throat would be a hassle. Basically the fit isn’t optimal. Overall, it looks like that aren’t getting anymore back stock for the P17 PS 16x19 as of right now.
