Good catch. And it seems to be a recent change. She was using a babolat back during IW (getty pic). She's been able to nicely serve strongly with it.

Amazing how the wilson steam 100 , a model from 2012, has still been currently used by a bunch of wta players under their respective repaints, even during this AO.

That is the case. He has said post-Halep that he would prefer to spend more time at home and less on the road. However, as @A_Instead has astutely noted, if the money's right, surely he will follow. Plus, he can work for ESPN while on the road too...

We’ll, I can say the Steam 100 (retail) is not that great hitting of a racquet. It feels big, long, and has a small sweet spot. But the pro-stock probably hits completely different. Obviously
