Anybody still using a "Classic" racket (1990s and earlier) as their main racket?

Congratulations you have rediscovered the holly grail, if you have fallen deeply for that feel then you will be sadly disappointed by the current models that are available. Stock up on grommets and look after those treasures and when you honestly feel that you are finally to old and slow to effectively wield them you should generate enough income from selling them to fund a quite comfortable retirement in the Bahamas.
Still own and use the Big Four:
Wilson PS 6.0 85
Head Prestige Classic 600
Dunlop Max200G
POG mid

Head XRC
Wilson Ultra FPK 85 & 95

Holy cow, just took a peek at listings on the big auction site... I had no idea!

The sticks are definitely in need of a little TLC... sounds like it’ll be worth it.

I occasionally still hit with a Kennex Golden Ace, Kennex Black Ace, Dunlop Black Max, and some old Donnay’s and Yamaha’s from the late 70’s/early 80’s. Still hit with a Jack Kramer Pro Staff every now and then. Just like hitting with ‘em…it ain’t like the racquets of today are gonna be a game changing deal and turn pro next month. Lol

Still own [but seldom use except for the K-Factor and Vcore 89s] a couple of PS85s, most iterations of the PS 90s [exceptions: nCode and BLX], MP Tour 1, RDX 500 mid, RDS001, RDS100, Vcore Tour 89, and most every Prestiges [mids, except Flexpoint and Youtek]. Quite a few hand-me-downs wood Donnays [in storage].

RDX 500HD is the odd one coming from Yonex at the time that I never had the opportunity to play with; was offered $25 a couple months ago for a relatively new-looking stick that I declined [I prefer Yonex's 16 x 18 and 16 x 20s (mids only)].

Actually prefer the SRD-90 & 95. Yonex also had some monster XL racquets in the 90s

Still play with my Head Trisys 300. 600cm. suspension grip. I also sometimes still play with my Pro Staff 6.0 95. Made in Taiwan version. Both still working fine! Me, on the other hand....not what I once was
Still have a few of those racquets. Had a pr. of the Prestige Classic XL without the CAP grommets. Were only 27.25"????? long

Still gaze at a MIA Fischer Vacuum 90 - always in my bag. As the years pass, I just string with thin gut, lower and lower.
Still perfect for non-comp mixed and hitting the wall... Precision and control and that FEEL...

These aren't the original Austrian-made model, but do I sortakindamaybe get honorary mention?

I haven't played a lot in a while but the first stick out of my bag is usually my PT630. If I'm feeling strong and moving my feet well, I'll pull out my Völkl C10 as well because it feels so good. When I'm allowed back to Australia for a visit I'm shipping the rest of my collection to myself and the first thing I'll regrip and string is my C7 Comp. It's been years but I want to get that back on court too.

I also have an RDX500 90 in my bag ready to go when I want something more modern feeling .

My last time on court I used my Rossi F300 - man that was sweet and I played a lot better than I expected to. Might be the first out of my bag the next time I have a hit.

My Volkl 9 and 10 series sticks would be first out of the bag. (BUT, it's been so long, I might have to use My Darling's V-1 m+ instead!!! :) )

I had played with all those.

Currently playing with the Pro Kennex 7G. Do you remember when the 5G and 7G were introduced?
