so would it be fair to say that tennis is the most important thing to society in your opinion?
Stop saying it like its a fact.
Its your OPINION.
Your problem is you act like everything you say is a fact and is set in stone.
High opinion of yourself?
no offense but nick, ive read the last 7 posts you wrote and THAT^^^^ sounds like you.
<<Drak quietly walks in to check on Nick and BP>>
OK. Good! No one is dead yet.
Carry on............
hahaha....
This could go on for months...BP never backs down!
can you imagine competing with BP on a tennis court ?
you win one point and he'll come back at you with all his might all day long
I'm just saying that, for me, there are a lot of more important things in the world that really matter to society than tennis, that's all.
Um....what part of "for me" did you NOT understand?Stop saying it like its a fact.

That's why I never lose.can you imagine competing with BP on a tennis court ?

Does not "for me" automatically mean that it's my opinion? Can something I feel "for me" be someone else's opinion or be a "fact"?
So is that your "opinion" or is that a fact?No...its one of the most important things to ME.
Where did I say that?
Nope, not jealous at all. Just the opposite. I feel sorry for you....that you will be wasting your life playing a "game". Not exactly very productive to society, is it?
Stop playing your auntie Jane .That's why I never lose.
I think this board needs to implement a system I've seen on other boards. If you quote multiple times in a row with no comments between, it will combine those into a single, multi-quote post.Like this all those who were posting here to gain post count will end as before
Then, tell as any other reason why would you post this kind of BS out here? What does it matter how many posts people have? I dont care that im in the hall of fame...means nothing to me.
Nick
Then, tell as any other reason why would you post this kind of BS out here?
Fedja
When you ask a question and as response you get bunch of name calling crap, the only reasonable thing would be not just to lock this thread, but completely erase it and hopefully take the BS count makers out of their goo.
Any moderators out here? I hope there are since people like nickb will only make people to stay out of this forums...
Fedja
OK, just to entertain your ignorance kiddo, here is a post just for your eyes that said more on this topic then all of your posts combined!
And yes, I would ban people like you if I could in a second, since your support for this forum and people that come to read and post is very negative and it just lowers the quality of such a great site.

The best way to get the answer to this is to text Nick!is the prince original graphite 93considered as a mid? just curious
Would you consider playing video games being a "productive member of society"? What's the difference between video games and tennis? They are both games.Buying stuff and selling it at a higher price is not "productive to society", and most of today's "business" is based on that. Speculating on the stock market is not productive to society and yet you said more than once that you have "connections" in this field. I think you should get off your high horse and start living in the real world instead of the world you created for yourself (inside your head).
You also seem to have WAY too much free time in order to be truly productive "to society". This whole expression "productive to society" is actually full of sh1t because almost EVERYBODY (exceptions just confirm the rule) takes care of no 1 (themselves) first and only after their needs are satisfied they stop to think that there are other people in the world.
Actually those who even after they drive a Lamborghini and own their own castle in Scotland and a mansion in Monte Carlo care enough about other people to get off their ass and do some unselfish acts in order to help someone without expecting recognition or without getting some kind of political capital out of it are few and far between.
Please don't tell me you are actually some kind of Mother Theresa who posts on a message board.
go on nick !
just 15 more posts to reach 4000 !!!!!!

.......People should forget head size altogether and just play with what they like.
Would you consider playing video games being a "productive member of society"? What's the difference between video games and tennis? They are both games.
No, it wouldn't. That would be missing the point. I was trying to empahsize that tennis is still just a "game", like video games are.a better analogy would be comparing a sport with a sport. basketball for instance.
What a fun thread. is there anyone nickB hasnt insulted?
To try and get it back on track, I created a couple of threads of this nature in a tongue and cheek manner a few years ago..this is just rehash and it's a shame the forum cant have a civil conversation about something like the headsize of a racquet without making it personal and all of these threads turning into whack
I think 'extinct' is the wrong choice of words for mid-sizes <as depicted in this forum>. I would say obsolete is a better term. Mids <as depicted in this forum> were obsolete back a few years ago when I started advising people to use something matched to their skillset and how the game has 'evolved'. They are even more obsolete now. The tennis world would do fine if there were no midsized frames available. cant say the same about MP or OS frames. prince now calls at least some of their 95 headsize frames Mids and I think that is accurate. Wilson would likely do the same were in not for the so called federer frame
besides, the headsize isnt what it important. it's all about the size of the sweetzone and not the # of square inches. mid is just a bad label that people get hung up on or otherwise turn it into their version of some sort of tennis badge of courage.
Example, the racquet I am swinging these days has a larger sweetzone than many frames designated as midplus, and it is designated as Mid. I like to think it is a good choice for me because of the sweetzone size, the swingweight, and the fact that I am solidly in the 5.0's and considered a good ball striker, and I also dont have strong grips. I dont care one iota if it is labeled mid or midplus
Holding one racquet up to another just isnt a very revealing exercise, as it indicates zero about how large the effective hitting areas are.
happy weekend to all the decent forum members....I plan on getting mine off to a great start with a warmup of Absinthe followed by happy hour and then some good live music..later on..Mojo
Funny how you mention me...what have I said to you in this thread?. Why not just mind your own business?
Apart from that I agree...most mids I have used have a very small sweetspot and are painful on mishits. The Volkl 10's seem to have a big sweetspot for the headsize (with the exception of the VEMid...I found the sweetspot too narrow). Also the POG Mid has decent sweetspot.
No, it wouldn't. That would be missing the point. I was trying to empahsize that tennis is still just a "game", like video games are.
since you brought it up, a few pages ago you said something i said was sad (in a negative insulting arrogant way). that was unecessary. i am just echoing what several other posters have said about you. also, perhaps the forum isnt aware, but you've had a real lot of your posts directed at me deleted by the mods because they were cruel and insulting..perhaps as many as 100 of them. you could have 100 more posts by now plus i dont know how many others of your posts have been deleted. bye now..i'm not interested in discussing this with you.
BTW: I no longer wish to converse with you...lol.
LOL. Too funny!
I guess you still don't get it, do you?video games and sports are 2 different things. tennis is as much of a game as basketball is, but they are both sports.
I guess you still don't get it, do you?
Both are pastimes and do not really matter in the grand scheme of things in this world.
