Typically and I do say typically the average single mother doesn't have to deal with any of this. We all know the father-less statistics ... but this father means business.
Maybe he just wants a big payout...

Let's not even talk about her endorsements.. just focus on the prize money which is around 29 Million. If he asked for 1 million to let her leave with their son. That's it. It's over. He might not see his child until the kid is old enough to make their own decisions. Is that worth 1 million? And if he has partial custody he'll always get an income. That's a scenario that assumes he is motivated by money.
He may just really love his kid.

Me looking into this thread for the first time:

Maybe, but in many countries you need the consent of both parents to take a child out of the country, regardless of nationality.

Not being an American would weigh on a judge's mind in terms of an assessment of her likelihood of returning with the child.

Of course, it weighs in the judge’s mind. Her son’s father does not want her to be able to leave the country with their son. Vika is from Belarus, so the fear is if he allowed to leave the country with their son agreed upon by him, she will not return. But if she playing tennis events, then they will know where she is at least.

My opinion is based on what I have seen from her from interviews and on court behavior. I am not claiming that this is 100% true and I am not forcing my thoughts on anyone. And speaking about defending worse people, Azarenka is constanly bragging about something and abusing the rules. Not to mention her screaming which is affecting a lot of her opponents.

Of course you’re not claiming 100% true because that’s how lying works.
