Are these supposed to be out on July 1?
If it is anything like the boost running shoe it will blow the rest of the market out of the water. The boost cushioning does not pack out or break down over time or temperature. Marry that to a barricade sole and you are talking one mean shoe. I think they leave it out of the forefoot because it is too soft and might hinder explosiveness.
I look forward to trying this shoe, although in my opinion they should have put boost in the forefoot as well... Even just a little to aide the cushioning up front. That is a key area for hard court play.

I see your point, and I also would like to see a full length boost but maybe not for BARRICADE. For me what BARRICADE stands for is mainly durability and stability, and having boost on the forefoot maybe would not help in the stability. Hopefully Adidas is thinking to launch a model with full length boost for next seasons for people who are really looking for cushioning.
They will be available in Europe July 1st and available here July 31st.Are these supposed to be out on July 1?

Those are just the dates adidas has picked for launch. Often times the new stuff will launch in Europe before here. Why such the long delay Michelle?
Excuse my ignorance but why the particular hype behind this boost stuff? I assume it actually works?
Just cautious after the lunar vapors were meant to be game changing cushioning-wise and frankly deserved a place in the middle of the sea...
Cool, will give it a look. Not too squishy though? That was my issue with the lunar stuff- incredibly comfortable but too soft for aggressive movementIt's awesome. Try on a pair of the boost running shoes to get the idea. It's like power cushion x10. It crushes Nike Air, Gel, etc
Ordered both the red and the green version... hope to have them by Tuesday.
The green/black pic above isn't the Barricade Boost - The Boost version is exactly the opposite colour scheme, predominantly green.
The manufacturer appears to have them. Are you in Europe? If not, what retailer did you order from?

Yes.
Once you get them, can you provide us a review and how they compare to the Vapor Tour 9.5s? I am on the fence as to whether to get these or buy more Vapor Tour 9.5s depending on if these have more comfort and make you less fatigue than the Vapor Tour 9.5s.

Good question!I noticed these don't have support for the Micoach inlay, nor do the normal Barricade 2015's. The only ones that still seem to have it are the Novak special editions. @TW Staff are there going to be new Barricade's that offer this feature ? Or has Adidas given up on Micoach for Tennis ?
Is the toebox as narrow as current Barricade ?
@MarcusInKensington you mean the Rolland Garros one ? I believe that's 'Chill Bright Red' not 'Solar Red'
Will still work great with those shoes though.
It's quite cosy. They actually feel a bit more snug than the regular Barricade 9s, but that might just be because of the heat. When I bought my other 9s it was the middle of winter. The best thing about them is the fact that the heel seems to fit better than any other Barricade EVER.
As for the people who were unhappy that the Boost cushioning wasn't included in the forefoot too, I think when you try them you'll realise and understand why. It feels great in the heel, but if it was in the forefoot too I would definitely feel a disconnect with the court and perhaps lose a bit of confidence.
