I was wanting to get the Barricade IV from my local shop because i'm not allowed to buy online so no TW. My local shop said the won't be getting them in until at least febuary. But he said most likely more towards march. What should i do? Go for the barricade III?

Roddick,

To me it seems like a cut and try situation.

If you need the shoes more immediately go for the Barricade 3. If you are not in a pressing need for the shoes, wait and get the Barricade 4.

John

Why aren't you allowed to buy online? You can also call TW's toll free number to order them over the phone. If you don't have a credit card, just ask your parents to do it. I think TW even accepts checks.

Ording online is too much of a hassle and my parents hate it.

a hassle? I think it's much easier than going to the store for most items, especially since the savings are considerable. But we all have our own reasons. It looks like you're in for a wait my friend :D

III's

I love my III's and they hold up very well. I am debating whether to get more or IV's for my next cuz I like em so much. And btw man try living in Maine, you don't have a good pro-shop unless u want basic shoes or wilson/prince rackets lol.

Does anyone know if the B4 has a weight increase of the type that made such a difference between the B2 and the B3? How does it perform as far as feel and maneuverability?

I bought the B3 for $60. I'll buy B4, when B5 comes out. Also just special ordered 2 pairs prince T10s frm direct sponsor deal.

I currently have the III and IV (both size 10). The IV feels slighty a bit heavier than the III. It's barely noticeable, if you're used to the III. If you're use to the II, then you're definitely notice the extra weight. the IV is the heaviest shoes I've worn for far for tennis, but the weight doesn't really bother me. It's the width that really bother me. I have a wide feet and the III fit me perfectly. The IV was a little tight and hurt my feet a little but it did stretch a bit after a few days on court and now feels good, but I still prefer the III.

I decide im going for the III because it's much cheaper and i can't wait very long. By the way, Wilson racquets are awesome.

I have a change in heart because my local tennis shop has the III only in 7 and 8.5. I need a 7.5 or 8. So that means Barricade IV!

Why not B2? Just curious b/c I haven't tried any adidas shoe yet. Is B3 better than B2 or B1? What's the best barricade so far? :confused:

well the barricade I are impossible to find in stores. And the II are hard to find although i found one store who had it. I tried them on and the only size they had was 8 but i needed 7.5. Theoretically the best barricade before the IV is the II.

Never tried the BI, so I can't really comment about them. BII is lighter than the III and IV. Width of the shoes are different with BII being the more narrow than the other two. IV is slightly wider than II (does stretch) and the III are noticeably wider than the other two. Cushioning wise, they are all excellent. Arch support is about medium. It's not to high, but not as low as some shoes I've worn. It all comes down to preference. Most seem to like the II, but I love the fit of the III.

Lighter weight, narrow feet --->BII
Wide feet, more weight------->BIII
Narrow feet, more weight ---->BIV
