There is nothing Gdub about the shoe except the Cherry tree. its more of an USA FLAG/Olympic trim than anything else.
Alexander and Hannibal had its animal and their theme based on them. Alexander different color eyes and the Lion that represented his fury in battles. The fabric pattern is that of his spear heads style he used. The Vergina sun badge also represented his Macedonian heritage. Orange because he dyed his yellow hair Orange with saffron to which at the time it was more valuable than gold. Hannibal has the elephants he used in battle, and thus the fabric represents their skin, plus his motto of "
either find a way or make one" in which he did when se surprised sacked Rome.
If not the Alexander wouldnt had been Orange but instead IRAN or Macedonian colors AND Hannibals would had been Tunisia. Nobody wants that? well not unless you live in those countries.
For George Washington, They could had AT LEAST use his 13 star flag style that represented him during the Revolution.
http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us-washi.html#frg and not the 5 pointed stars. Something about Valley Forge or the Crossings that lead to his first victories that literally convinced France to help us beat the Brits?
Adidas could at least tried better and put more THOUGHT than just slapping the US flag to it. I guess they know we would buy anything with the US flag on it regardless of meaning or actual though about it.
For the Pros, at least it doesnt look bad.
too bad it isnt a Barricade though, thats the only thing I buy these days
