Boris needs to hook up again with milliardaire Tiriac because he's going to need soon all the help he can get.

Who is Becker comparing Nadal to?
Federer?
They have nothing in common physically or mentally.
Agassi?
Nah, nothing in common.
Find a 35-year-old in tennis history similar to Nadal........there is none.

I actually don’t think Rafa wins this RG. He’s the favorite - I’d put him at 30% and the field at 70%. If you put Thiem/Tsits together I’d give them a 40% chance alone

I'd put him at 20% only given his draw and shortcomings during this clay season.

It's to do with how Nadal approaches tennis. He stays in the moment better than other players. Right now he'll be thinking that he has to practice and has a job to do in the first round. Why think beyond that at this point?

Suggesting that he is challenged to be on equal footing against much lesser players all the time indicates that Nadal is just a mental puppet, who needs his fake humility to get himself in a certain state of mind. That is how he is "staying in the moment better". In the long run (i.e. when Nadal's career is over) I expect him to succumb to that mentality and turn into an introverted and scared child.

:D

Who's gonna beat him? Realistically speaking? The clay field now is probably the most pathetic in the history of tennis. Baring some freak injury he has 100 % chance of winning this tournament. ;)
Now if peak clay Novak of 2015-16 was still around, that would have been a completely different story alright.;)

Really these sort of mind games after nearly 40 GS won combined and 13 RG for Rafa? The time will come when he either loses again or just retires but betting houses won’t speed that up...

One day, they will be right about Nadal not winning. But I'm not sure Novak will be the one to take over RG then :)

Yes, let's trust the wise judgement of Becker in all things gambling! That's worked out so well for him in the past. Love the guy but please.

I could see Thiem doing it. Tsits not as easy to imagine but possible. Djoker certainly has his puncher’s chance and could beat Rafa if Rafa had a bad day. But ur right, he’s the fav for a reason

He was a betting man, now he's in the poor house because of it!

Yep, that's not a bet I'm going anywhere near. 3 things you should never do in tennis:
- Never p1ss off Pancho Gonzales
- Never attack Del Potro's forehand
- Never write off Nadal

Remember this year when Djokovic needed a 98 minute 3rd Set, just to take a 2-sets-to-1 lead over severely-injured-Nadal?
What a loser.
The future does not look bright for Boris Becker.

Becker's future doesn't look bright, but at least his real estate portfolio is in excellent shape right now. ;)

He won in very covincing style less than a year ago. When he recovers again from that foot injury that troubled him since 2006 why wouldn't he be a contender again? Stupid bet Boris.
