BEST 2012 RACQUET! Babolat v. Head v. Dunlop v. Wilson

I am a 4.5 NTRP level player.
My current racquet is a 2007 Pure Drive Roddick Plus racquet and I am looking for a new racquet.
I like staying at the baseline and I'd say I'm a mix of a counterpuncher and an aggressive baseliner.
Out of the following racquets, which one would you recommend and why:
Babolat Pure Drive Roddick
Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Plus
Head Youtek IG Prestige Pro
Dunlop Biomimetic 300
Wilson BLX Blade 98

Thanks for all your help :)

I use the regular Pd+ with a little lead at 12. I have no idea what the best for you is though. It's different for everyone.

The PD (and PDR) 2012 aka "The Black Drive"-(courtesy of PP), just simply rocks.....Bab sure got it right this time around - if you like the 09 GT, you'll love the 2012 Black Drive........

why change a proven recipe if you already use the PDR?

@Veens, do you think those racquets are good for counterpunchers? Why?
@dkent, richsox, Power Player _ I have an old 2007 version which is no longer on sale, but is it worth upgrading it to the 2012 version?

Vantage 100 or 95, out of those I would recommend the Prestige Pro, I also would recommend the Babolat pure storm tour, Dunlop 300 tour with lead, Volkl Organix 10, Volkl PB 10 MP, and the wilson blx tour

This! The fact that you've got a selection of racquets that are all across the spectrum doesn't help either.

I think I would take the Blade 98 and Dunlop 300 off of your list though, if you're a 4.5 then you might find those a bit too powerful for you.

@Soderlingpower-I love my PDR more and more everytime I play with it. I will probly pick up another one soon. I haven't touched my old racquets since buying it. YES, buy a new one!

Completely! IMO - this 2012 Pure Drive is spot on - and I truly believe a "Classic has been born" - Go Black

Thank you all!

So, the Pure Drive Roddick it is! Sticking with Babolat #win !

What strings do you recommend?

I don't mind having my racquet, a little bit extra powerful, since I find that at least with the old one, I had very good control over it.

Black Drive Roddick + serves like a dream. My coach recommended I switch from my 93 sq. in. Yonex RDiS 100 mid. I demoed a lot and found the 2012 PDR+ a much needed and welcomed change.

if you are a baseliner, the tecnifibre t fight 320 vo2 max will be a solid choice! a lot of power and spin, more arm friendly than you're pure drive and above all more CONTROL! overall, best racquet than pure drive and a very addictive one! this is my holy grail!

Even though Wilson BLX Blade isn't from this year, I'd say it's one of the best on your list. It's an all-around monster on court, great for groundstrokes, volleys, serves...everything. Very solid frame and looks good too.

I've tryed everyone except prestige pro. I'd say go with the dunlop 300tour with 4 gm lead at 3/9 and an overgrip.

I've also heard good things about technifibre 320 VO2. It's supposed to be like an easier to play 6.1 95. I'd try that one and 300tour and the Roddick then choose. But that's just me.
