Best arm friendly players racquet?

True, braiding the graphite/kevlar is a way to interrupt/attenuate the vibrations is a distinctive way. That Grafil injection process dunlop used for the 200g was another.

I'm a senior player who was away from the game for a long time.
Used to be a club 4.5
Played with Prince but had a Hammer 5.0 for late afternoons when I'd been playing all day and arm was tired.
I use the bigger head size, never have liked the 95s or 100.
Having shoulder and bicep problems, need new technology for a senior player with a larger head size.
Ideas are all welcome.
Thanks.

look at the various prince offerings, they have a lot to offer with respect to arm-friendly frames.

Any of the Dunlop Biomimetic sticks were easy on the arm. Especially the 200 series, looking to get a used on now. Dunlop has gone downhill with the latest stuff.

Some Pro Staffs and 6.1s had braided Kevlar, which works as an excellent shock absorber.

Agree. Also have a Graphite/Kevlar blend going on in the Volkl C10, which has been supremely kind to my arm through recent history. I actually switched into this racquet from the 6.1 Classics because it looked like a similar package with more softness. It pretty much gave me the power and stability I enjoyed with my 6.1's, but I also found a lot more baseline control with it, perhaps from the greater flex.

Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300 (oldie but a goodie)

There are a lot of good ideas in this thread, but they are almost all 100 sq" heads or smaller, so you may get more ideas by starting a thread on this. What makes it tough is that oversize frames with players' specs have fallen out of favor with manufacturers, so the retail pickings are slim. If you are willing to haunt online auctions, you get a much better selection. Some thoughts:
  • "New technology" is now more likely to be a marketing innovation than an engineering one. There is really no substitute for mass behind the ball (transferring more collision energy to the ball and less to your arm), low stiffness (more energy goes into bending the frame and less into shredding your arm), and natural gut string. Exceptions (i.e., tech that does help arms) are few and are not new; they include Pro Kennex Kinetic tech, Volkl handle tech, and, going waaaay back, Prince Vortex tech.
  • The excellent Pacific X-Force Comp 105 is just now being discontinued and may be available on sale. The Avery M5, basically a softer Prince Graphite with a denser-in-the-middle string pattern, is a hidden gem that is still available.
  • Older 21st-century models to keep an eye out for: the UL weight of the Fischer M-Speed Pro No. One 105 is almost the same frame as as the Pacific, and the heavier SL weight is even better. There are a lot of Head Radical OS's floating around: the Microgel, YouTek, YouTek IG, and (to a lesser extent) Titanium iterations are the softest, but you may need to add whatever lead tape your shoulder will tolerate. The Kneissl Black Star (2005-2007 version) and Vantage Bastcore 40 are great but hard to find. The most recent versions of the Prince Graphite 107 do fit into this category but are slightly less arm-friendly than either the earlier versions or the above models.
  • The picture gets bigger if you start including 1990s frames.
Good luck. I have similar limitations and preferences, so if any of the above is unclear, ask away.

but how can you play The Modern Game using 1990's tech. the 90's conjures up images of Trisyses, Profiles, Synergys, and a really old martina navratilova. also, bald agassi and the pete sampras "serve and serve" style of play.

Not to worry; there ain't no crisis if you still swing a Trisys. See, the Modern Game isn't really modern – there have always been players who didn't hit through the ball and couldn't volley. :D

For this reason O played for years with a Volkl V-1 Classic, but found the frame dated. I tried the Organix 7 295 but felt it could be pushed around against a heavy hitter, now I'm using the V-1 Organix Pro MP and for me its perfect. No pain, good control and stable. What else do you want from a frame? As for string and Polly I'm using Volkl Cyclone and have no pain at all anywhere. FYI for a brief while I tried a new Instinct MP XT and had both shoulder and wrist pain plus it was no more stable than the Organix 7.

That v-1 has a head weight of roughly 159g which is close to my 160g rule for a racket having enough plowhrough

You may add the Prince Classic Graphite 100 Longbody.
Is in the light side but def a flexible player's racket (10HL& SW 334).
