Looking for a racquet that combines the following racquets I'm toying around with now:

a) spin potential, comfort, 'thinner' beam, and flex of the Gamma T-7
b) solid feel, stability, touch/feel, and control of the LM Radical Midplus
c) maneuverability and power of the Becker Pro
d) weight anywhere from the Becker Pro (mine is 10.87 ounces) and the LM Radical (mine is 11.4 ounces)
e) cheap price

ie: MY PERFECT RACQUET (never to be found but always fun to search)

Looking at the following racquets in that weight range, price range, and, from what I've read, some of those characteristics:

1) Dunlop Aerogel 300
2) Wilson nCode nTour Two
3) Yonex RDS003 ( '98 )

Thanks for any input on any of them.

BTW: sorry about the smiley face on the poll...keep forgetting an '8' beside a ')' gives a smiley face

I tried the nTour Two. The feel was better than the original nTour, but it's a picky racquet which I struggled to find the right combination of power to apply with it.

I'm getting the AG300 in a week. I'm anxious to see if this is indeed better than the m-Fil 300, which I didn't like.

The Head Microgel Radical is pretty good if used properly. It's a bit low powered, but it definitely rewards good technique and can nail volleys pretty well. For an 18x20, it can provide a pretty good amount of topspin while providing accurate flat shots when needed.

Aerogel 300 by far. At least if you're willing to use some leadtape at 12 o'clock and along the handle. It changes the characteristics of the aerogel drastically.
Don't forget every pro uses leadtape. You seem reluctant to use it but it's the only way if you want to find your perfect racket.

i agree with Martin about the AG300. You need to lead it up a bit, I like lead at 10 and 2 and then add the same amount of lead to the handle. I've tried a ton of midsize rackets over the past 6 months to see if I liked anything better then the AG300, once I pick it back up, it feels the best by far. The biggest problem I have with the AG300 is during winter play. When its cold, the ball is cold the racket is cold, I really have to crank it up to get the pace that I want and my volleys suffer more then any part of my game. I know I can add more lead tape to stablize the head but I have a very fast swing and rely on my groundstrokes, more weight hurts my groundstrokes. I love hitting backhand slices with this stick, my 1HBH has improved using this racket and I can crush flat FH's, my favorite shot. It has pretty good touch at the net and it serves well, flat, topspin or slice. I've found other rackets that give me more pace on the serve, but I'm able to put the ball where I want and deep.
