Black code 17 vs MSV hex 17?

Hmmm 2 black shaped polys...
any comparisons? FWIW I prefer a stiffer string.

For reference: strings I liked:

WC Silver string 17
Blue gear
Pacific X-force
CF 17
tnt 17L Pro+
Big ace 17
Gamma Fusion 19 (with Xcel crosses)

mostly around 60lbs

I've used both and don't think they play markedly differently. If pressed, I would prefer the BC for its slightly better comfort. If you prefer stiff, hex may be for you. The difference is not large.

Caveat: I have yet to get more than 7 hours before either of them cuts through the cross string (gut or multi). I have not yet tried a full set of either.

I've tried both in the same type of racquet side by side and actually much prefer the BC. Hex seems to move more and be a bit more mushy feeling. Not really any more power but certainly less control with hex than BC. Tension maint. is about the same really between them. Initially I thought BC was a good bit better than a number of other poly's in tension maint. but have since found that the difference is not really that much. Overall the BC is a far superior string in basically all areas to hex IMO.

I'm interested in that topic as well.
I'm playing BC 17 right now (which I love), but I'm considering switching to Focus hex / Cyber Flash because they're half the price of BC.

So more input regarding BC vs Hex would be apprecited.
