Please excuse my ignorance, I only started following tennis mid 2021.
How come we had 10 ATP tourneys in february, and have nothing going on for the next week and a half? Is this standard schedule?
So it is intentional by ATP to not schedule any tourneys this week before 2 masters?
I just assumed players rested as needed since participation is not necessarily required
idkIs participation not required anymore?
One week does not make a season. Please excuse my ignorance, I only started following tennis mid 2021.

Masters are required, 250's are not.Is participation not required anymore? Players used to have a minimum number of M1000s.

I think they could still squeeze a 250 in. But I don't run the ATP.It's just not the same...something needed to change. But why did it have to be DC?
