Plenty of tennis players in the wood racket and graphite racket eras had serious injuries too.I wonder if we have reached the peak of what's humanly possible on a court? All the new technology that enables the level that these guys are trying to play at now, is it just too much for a body?
It’s happening in MLB. Pitchers going down with elbow injuries left and right because insanely high spin rate and velocity are demands of the market. They’re tracking everything. No such thing as an off day.I wonder if we have reached the peak of what's humanly possible on a court? It’s really sad. That sport is going down the drain because of analytics. None of the star pitchers even pitch. The death of baseball. It’s happening in MLB. First RAFA now TC? My guys just can’t catch a break
Carlos, change to a Strike 97 if you are staying with Babolat. This is really disheartening for his fans as arm injuries can linger.
Looks like ‘Sinner time‘ at RG.
never seen it before - what the **** is this picture lol? He might as well be playing with a UPS parcel for an armNew Nadal confirmed
I’ve had this lingering fear with him ever since he won Umag in 2021. While it was his first ATP title, his elbow looked like this.
I’m no racquet guru but the fact that he plays with a stock Babolat that’s apparently significantly lighter than some of his competition’s can’t be good. The amount of torque he generates swinging that hard is very concerning. I really hope his camp looks into changing his setup. This situation seems untenable.

He’s affected by Sinner overtaking him in rankingsWhat's the point of still being there and forcing your body? Jesus, just skip the tournament and recover...
More like 25.15 is coming.
I don't think so because it seems players are generally hesitant to change frames. Not sure how long his contract is with Babolat but it's not like they have a truly arm friendly lineup. Still it's not a great sign that he's suffering arm issues at his age as it's not likely a matter that's going to get better with age.Is there a history of pro players changing racquets due to elbow injuries? It would be less drastic to add some mass for shock absorption, if they indeed think the racquet is a contributing factor.

I think it called didn’t I? Dude will be washed out with injuries in 5 years like Hewitt. He’s hazardous on a tennis court
HyperboleI think it called didn’t I? Dude will be washed out with injuries in 5 years like Hewitt. He’s hazardous on a tennis court. When you’re already breaking down every year at his age you’re in trouble

@NeutralFan @TheGoldenEra1990’s Teeth is affected by Sinner surpassing him in rankings, that’s why he’s playing Monte Carlo
If Carlos isn’t there to hold the court down on clay I can’t see anyone stopping sinner at RG other than maybe zverev. And you can’t trust him mentally
Sinner has too much power for AlcarazI don't think teeth can stop Sinner , RG is almost lock for our boy. My biggest worry is Nadal at RG if he plays.
FifySinner has too much power for anyone
yea Nadal is a problem on clay. Even if he’s in a wheelchairI don't think teeth can stop Sinner , RG is almost lock for our boy. My biggest worry is Nadal at RG if he plays.

He’s getting eaten alive by Sinner these daysRuud got to French open finals twice, Zverev never did. Medvedev is getting better on clay.
Sinner beating Rafa in RG final will be passing on torch moment imo
