Well I used to play a lot of tennis in my younger days n stopped in college. Now I am back. I m open to advice n suggestion from my fellow tennis lovers.

First racket was a Dunlop n it was properly low sq in
Then a Wilson profile 95 sq in
Then prince extender oversize
currently using 2010 blx 61 95

Now I got to try a Wilson ps 85 n really love the plow thru feeling.
I was trying to get a blx ps 90 n was told to go yonex 89. Read into it n figure it was better.

I m looking for control n a plow thru feeling. I have no problem with spin n power. Sorry for the long history.

Thanks

PS85 substitute

Look no further than the Yonex Vcore 89.

Brilliant stick, the real and worthy successor to the PS85 in terms of classic feel, with added modern plow-through, spin capability and stability.

The new PS90 6.1 does not even come close. I have been playing with the PS85 for years and the only frame that found grace in my eyes was the VCore 89.

Demo it, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into the Volkl to be thorough.

I am gonna get a vcore 89 to test soon. Years ago I played with the Prince synergy extender CTS(over 100 sq in).

I've been playing with the 2010 blx 6.1 95. I seem to have quite a bit of frame hit while serving and a couple of time on ground strokes. I know I have not played in years but a few question came to mind. The day of and after playing tennis for the whole weekend for 4+ hours on Saturday and Sunday. I seem to be quite sore in the back, shoulder, bicep and muscles around my shoulder. I don't believe its tennis elbow but I slightly concern. It probably from the lack of playing tennis for a long time. I wonder if in part is due to the near 12 oz racket and mishit due to the smaller head size.

Therefore I am also contemplating on trying the Head extreme pro 2.0.
