Chris - Adizero Feather II vs Speed Solution vs Vapor 9s

Hi Chris,

Since you have tried all three shoes, can you give us an idea which one you prefer? I currently have the Speed Solution and did see your response to my thread on the shoe section but since you reviewed the Adidas, I am curious which one you like the best and why.

Since all three are in the lightweight category, I am looking for one that offers good arch support, cushioning, and stability.

All three are great shoes and I have at least one pair of each in rotation right now. That being said, the Vapor 9 Tour is my personal GSOAT right now. It equals the others in its speedy feel, yet offers superior fit from the finger-like lace system. I have narrow feet and the adiZero Feather II is a tad wide on me, otherwise it would be right there with the Vapor.

Traction lets the Asics down a little, but they are working on fixing that as a running change. I love the light weight feel of that shoe and I use it in the gym and for a quick run as well as tennis.

I'd have to give durability to the adiZero Feather II, so if that's an issue (keeping in mind all of these are built for speed, not to last), then it makes a great option.

Luckily, all of them are available in dynamite color combos as well!

Cheers,
Chris, TW

The Gel Solution is the plushest. The adiZero Feather II feels slightly lower to the ground and the Vapor Tour 9 feels the lowest to the ground and most responsive.

Both the Vapor and adiZero have a beefy shank to protect your arches. The Asics shoe is more flexible through there, but its flexibility is one of the things that makes it feel like such a fast shoe.
