This is the year that Nadal will start losing on clay.
I can guarantee Nadal will not defend all his titles again, which was an amazing achievement, but it's time for this streak to be broken. His invincibility on clay will come to an end.
Djoker who could have won a few matches against him in the past will win at least one tournament in this clay against Nadal.
Other players will be able to beat Rafa, such as Sod and Del Po,will take him to distance, suddenly He will be more tired, next thing you see, he is losing the finals.
I also doubt He will win RG this year.

I think that Rafa will dominate at the beginning of the clay court season, and will defend the masters tournament. But, I think that this is the year that Robin Soderling wins Roland Garros...

You're kidding right? He will still dominate. May not cover all titles, but most.

Dude, Soderling gave that match away, He had all the chances he decided the result of that match on his racket, look at how many break points He had and wasted with bad returns and stupid UE.
Year later, Soderling is a better player, Novak is there, Del Po will reach his high level in RG, Ferrer can challenge him.
I hope this will be a good clay season, because I hate the clay baseline season.

All Rafa fans should thank Buckethead.

He just guaranteed that Nadal WILL defend all his titles again by making one of his customary Fail threads.

I have to keep reminding myself that Rome and Madrid have actually swapped places in the calendar, so Madrid takes place before Rome.

Nadal's planned schedule is:

Next week off
1 week of Monte Carlo
1 week of Barcelona
1 week off
1 week of Madrid
1 week of Rome
1 week off
2 weeks of the French Open
1 week of Queen's Club
1 week off
2 weeks of Wimbledon

He might lose one to Ferrer or Djokovic. But people are underestimating Nadal. I still see him as a favorite this year. He played 2 bad sets after an amazing and dominating first set at Indian Wells in the finals. I think that match was his and after the first set he should have won it. His form is still tops. I can't see anyone deseeding his #1 ranking. I see him sweeping through the clay season and making strong results at Wimbledon and US Open. I mean, come on; wimbledon is basically clay right? They've changed the surface enough these past years that it's basically dry as a bone and all dirt by the 2nd week. Wimbledon actually favors Nadal. I never had doubts about him. Players actually fear playing Nadal, the spin, the angles, the defense. He wears you down and then cuts your throat when he's chased you down. The man is a beast.
Clay season is where he's always made cashed his checks.

Could you also predict that Nadal is done and will never win any slams again? That would complete the anti-jixing, it was quite effective in 2010 when you made a fool of yourself :)

I think he will lose 1 clay event this time. But you never know, no one beats him in these things but Federer, and Fed looks terrible right now. A lot depends on this final Sunday, If Novak can't beat him in Miami, he's not beating him on clay.

I picked more than one before....Nole got one win but where will the other win come from?

I think Nadal'll lose in RG as well. I picked him to win against Djoker in Rome, because of course i picked Djoker to win in Madrid, and this win for Novak will get him looser and He will probably wait for RG to play his best against Rafa, if Rafa makes to the final.
Rafa this time in RG will be more challenged than last year when everybody was either out of form or injured.
If Del Po can recover for RG and keep imrpoving He too can take Nadal out.
So you can have Soderling, Djoker and Federer the guys who can beat Nadal.
Then you have some others that can make his life more difficult, make him run more, spend more time playing the match, and then as further as he goes, more tired he will be for more difficult matches.
I hope Nadal can get a tougher draw this year.

Read the first post.
You can call me Nostradamus of tennis, imho this year my predictions have been good so far.
Well predicted, spot on, I just wanted to prove the point.
Nadal was surpassed, his best is no longer the best, the best now is Djokovic.
Need i say anything else?
