Rohan will become the oldest world No1 in tennis on Monday at the age of 43 after he and partner Matthew Ebden reached the final of the Men's Doubles AO. He takes over from the previous holder of this record Mike Bryan who was 41.

It is the first time he has topped the rankings and he is quoted as saying ...

"People all over the world, you know, being 40 and above, I think it's just going to inspire them in a different way,"

He credited his physiotherapist and yoga for his longevity having achieved this remarkable achievement with no cartilage left in his knees!

Personally find him inspiring in that his age has not dampened his enthusiasm ... not to mention his ability.

I hope he keeps going and shows all us that if you look after yourself you can still play good tennis and achieve personal goals.
