Well i think its very clear by now to everyone in the world, including those dirty cheating italian fakers, that there's a refereeing conspiracy against the aussies at the world cup.
We've been cheated out of nearly every game we played and its just a disgrace. Let's take a look back at the Aussies matches:
Aus vs Japan: (Egyptian ref)
1. Ref awards goal to Japan off a cross even though a Japanese forward clearly jumps straight into the Aussie goalie, stopping him from making the save. Usually any contact with the goalie inside the box is called a foul, however this clear bump was allowed.
2. After the match, the ref even went up to the Aussie goalie and apologised for allowing the goal, admitting it was a mistake. Luckily the Aussies were good enough to score 3 goals in the last 8 mins to win 3-1.
Aus vs Brazil: (German ref)
1. Foul count for the match - 25-9 favouring the Brazilians.
2. In every single 50-50 contest throughout the match, a foul was awarded to Brazil, even when the Aussies were running in front of them and in possession of the ball.
3. 1st goal by Brazil was claimed to be offside by the Aussies, who still believe that this is the case, however the ref let the goal stand.
4. Again, the Aussies claim that the 2nd goal was also offside, but no decision is given to the Aussies.
5. The ref blows full time with the Aussies in possession near their goal even though there is clearly still a minute left on the clock.
6. Harry Kewell argues furiously with the German ref about his decisions after the match and he is reported by the German to the federation for this.
7. The tribunal clears Kewell of any charges, finding that the ref was basically lying and changing his story in order to get Kewell suspended for the Aussies next match.
Aus vs Croatia: (English ref)
1. Viduka is blatantly pulled down inside the box but no penalty is given.
2. The Croatian defender clearly handballs the ball inside the box for the 2nd time in the match, however no penalty is awarded again despite protests by all the Aussie players.
3. The ref doesnt send off Simunijc after giving him 2 yellow cards because he "accidentally" writes down Aussie Craig Moore's name in the book instead of Simunijc. He later sends Simunijc off after a 3rd yellow card.
4. Aloisi's goal at the end of the match is disallowed with no clear reason given.
Aus vs Italy: (s*** ref)
1. Italy is given a disgraceful penalty deep into stoppage time after the Italian player clearly dived over Lucas Neill who was already on the ground and made no attempt to attack the player. This was the worst decision of all and knocked the Aussies out of the World Cup.
If this isnt convincing enough, lets look back at the qualifying matches against Uruguay last year. The only goal that Uruguay scored was off a free kick that shouldve clearly been awarded to the Aussies instead.
Looking at this evidence, what do the Aussies have to do to get a decent refereeing decision in the next World Cup?
