CyberFlash!!

HI all,

Had a hit today with a friends Wilson racquet, strung with CyberFlash and it felt awesome! Just curious as to if any of you have had the chance to try out this string?

Thanks

Andrew

Topspin cyber flash 1.25mm, has little bumps on it for spin, which wear off quickly. Great spin until they wear off. Let me check that for clamp bumps. Looks like I might be wrong on that. My bad.

how do bumps wear off? alu power rough has little bumps and they dont wear off....

Alu power rough has indentations, and the indentation, shaped like long skinny rectangles, don't wear off because they don't protrude. Cyber doesn't have bumps, just my clamp marks all over.

umm... are you sure about this? I have a reel of cyberflash, and i haven't noticed any texture on it.

There are not little bumps on it, every few cm. Topspin cyber flash 1.25mm. I was wrong. Sorry.

cozmo, please shoot ask1ed an e-mail, competitor sites are not allowed to be posted...

ask1ed, i'm not going to be able to look at my reel for at least a week, are you sure these aren't just clamp marks or something? I'm almost positive the gauge/width of the string is pretty consistent throughout. Any way you could get a close up picture?

Edit: anyone else experience texture on their cyberflash?

Got my reel in my hand and I will be stuffed if I can see or feel any texture on it?????? It does leave clamp marks if the clamps are over tightened.

Have tried Signum PPP and it just doesnt compare in my books.

John.

ask1ed.....
there is not any texture or bumps on any of the sets that I have and have tried.

you like the SPPP better than the Cyber flash? Can you comment on this further?

THanks

Do you mean signum doesn't compare, or cyberflash doesn't compare... (sorry, this was a little vague, and i have both in stock right now, and i'm looking to compare both of them)

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the cyberflash is far superior to the PPP in my books.

Better in every department,

I know alot of people love the PPP but it just didnt rate with me whilst the cyber flash is the best string I have ever used.

cyberflash is more on power with alu in terms of stiffness. unique big hitter is a softer poly than these two. poly polar is probably the softest poly i have ever tried.

Much better than ppp. More spin, little less power on serving, better control on returns. Good tension loss.

Guys,

The Cyber Flash is stiffer than the Poly Plasma.
From what I have collected and from retailers it has the qualities of alu power but in a softer form. Hmm maybe the great combo of being crisp but still not too stiff?

I would assume though that both the SPP and the Cyber would be similair as they are both co-poly.
