Detailed mechanical analysis of Nadal

For hard-core Nadal fans, here is the sequence that you need to incorporate into your game:

All actions are carried out by right hand.

There are two variants: Full (two nose pulls, 5 or 6 steps) or Abbreviated (one nose pull, 3 steps)

They both start off with the following two common steps:

1. Butt pick
2. Hand moves to nose and pulls it

Full sequence:

3a. Hand moves to left ear and pulls it
4a. Hand comes back to nose and pulls it

From here there are two variants to the Full sequence:

5a. Hand moves to right ear and pulls it

OR

5b. Hand moves to right part of bandana and brushes it
6. Then hand moves to right ear and pulls it

OR

Abbreviated sequence:

3b. Hand moves from left to right forehead, with a little bandana tweak in the process

6-1 6-3 6-0

Looks like it CAN'T copy the things that matter the most-

-Longest surface streak in world history (81)
-Youngest player in open era to win career grand slam (24)
-Most Roland Garros titles (7)
-Most (consecutive) Monte Carlo titles ( 8 )
-Most Barcelona titles (7), in as many attempts
-Most Rome titles (6)
-Highest winning percentage
-Most Masters 1000 titles

and more. :p

I must mention that Nadal has added a new motion to his ritual - picking the front of his shorts. It was brought to my attention by a poster in another thread, so I just wanted to update this thread for completeness.
