People just overrate the guy. he aint that good. Djoker was just playing on rubbery legs in the final and his form was questionable all tournament due to burnout of a long year. Alot of guys could have beaten Djoker in that form in the final (and well really all tournament). he was in his worst form since maybe 2009. Zverev zapped all the energy from him

Not sure it will improve Team Djokovics mood. Losing the chance at history to Mededev who is a very one dimensional player is going to hurt for a long time.
Medvedev is lost once he has different pace of shot to look at. He looked lost today. I definitely rate Zverev higher. Much higher.

I don't think the pressure got to him. His serving dipped a bit, but honestly Dimi really raised his level and played incredibly well. He deserves credit for winning that match, slicing and dicing Meddy to death.

I have always said, Prime Lost Gen is better than the "next-gen". They are just are extremely unlucky peaking from 2012-2017 in the Big 3 era as well as having many injuries and health issues. 2014 USO Nishikori kills anyone from the next-gen from the baseline.
