i’m looking for a racquet that can allow me to “point and shoot”. i would like a flexy racquet that doesn’t add too much power.

For a point and shoot racquet I would say the VCORE Pro97 310g is the way to go.

As a former Yonex guy until a month ago, I just switched to the Prince Phantom Pro 93p and it's exactly what you described above... flexy, not too much power. Absolutely "point and shoot." You should get your hands on one. My former racquet was a Yonex EZONE DR 98.

I think the DR98 has very good blend of control and power with a nice, plush flexy feel. The Vcore 97s are slightly more precise but less powerful than the DR. Both are good options given your criteria, and I think are worth a demo - the difference between racquets often comes down to personal preference and these racquets are close enough that they are all worth a try. As someone who had until recently been a lifelong user of very low powered, high control, flexible frames (mainly the Prestige Classic and PT280), I first went with the DR98 and then moved on to the DR98+.
VCore 97 310 is tough to beat for control and feel. DR is a little more powerful. The feel and flex at contact is different. DR is more dampened with the gel in the handle where the VCore feels solid but still soft. The flex in the VCore is more uniform throughout the frame where the DR has a little bit of a slingshot feel. Both a great frames. It really boils down to the subtle differences (personal preference).
You're using the dr 98+? In another post you rated the sv 98+ higher.

Agree. The DR is more "grip & rip" as opposed to "point & shoot"

Yes - I've since moved on to the SV98+. However, between the SV98+ and DR98+, its really close. The DR98+ has better feels and is a better all rounder. The SV98+ has a bit more oomph on groundstrokes and serve. I enjoy the DR98+ more but I'm bit more effective in match play with the SV98+. Both are worthy of a demo!
