Djokovic ended cooperation with Vemic

I'm afraid I'd never heard of him anyway.

Marian Vajda is Djokovic's long-standing coach. Now if THEY had split, that really would be news!

There are speculations that former polish Tennis player Wojciech Fibak is coaching Novak atm.

That may be a good pick for him, if Fibak ends up joining his team. Fibak was a very cerebral, excellent player who reached #10 in 1977 but I'm not sure what that would mean in terms of his longtime coach Marian Vajda. Fibak is a close friend and former mentor of Ivan Lendl.

Oh, so that was him. The sinister looking guy with the beard and dark specs. Looked like a hit man for the Serbian Mafia!

I wonder if something is going on with Vajda? I haven't seen him at Djokovic's matches for a while.

I thought someone in Vajda's family had medical issues. I thought he was absent during a stretch a few years back.

Surprised Vemic didn't quit considering Cvac was cursing him out during his match against Isner in Cinci. This guy just got a reprieve and should be thankful for it.

Dusan vemic is a pretty funny, crazy dude.

Two weeks ago during the Rogers Cup he just walked up to the serve booth after a practice and hit 136mph.

The next day I ran into him in the media lounge and asked him about that. He looked at me with a deadpan expression and said 'the radar was too weak. I hit 150'

Do you understand Serbian?

No, but in her deeply depressed state she's exclusively receptive to and observant of anything negative. Negative perceptions and subsequent thoughts are the basis of the majority of her interactions on this site. It's actually pretty sad.........

Do you understand the word ignore? You are like an annoying fly that just won't go away. STOP RESPONDING TO ME. Good Lord.

And yes, he absolutely did curse out Vemic in his match against Isner the other day. You want proof of it, then find it yourself.

It's pretty funny. And what's funnier is I have that bum ALL IN on my ignore list, and have for a long time. It still won't stop responding to me, though. Sounds like it's the one with the problem here. It just doesn't want to hear the truth about anything related to Cvac. He DID curse out Vemic the other day during his match against Isner. It's a fact and it just can't handle it.

Oh, and I was also called a liar when I brought up Cvac's foul mouth in his match against Querrey in IW this year, and was also called a liar about several other instances of this as well. Well, that turned out to be true as were the other instances of him shouting vulgarities at the crowd and at his opponent that I brought up. They just don't want to hear the truth about his horrible behavior.

I believe you. Eastern Europeans, in general, tend to have hotter tempers. What is that CVac name? Serbian? I've never heard it. ;)

Funny, how you respond to my posts when you feel like it. And even agree at times....

Sorry but this is not a good translation. "Bre" is not a swear word at all and that is what is important here. It is not even close to "goddammit". More appropriate translation would be: "Come on, say something". Also I don't think Novak was asking for any advice, he was just angry to himself and reacting to it.

Sorry, but you left out him saying "f**k you" to Vemic. Not that I'm surprised you did.

Also, since he was clearly looking for coaching advice going by your translation, where are all of the folks here here who call Nadal a cheater when he so much as looks at Toni during a match? We all know why they are saying nothing about this. 21-10 is why.
Didn't Djokovic disrespect the crowd in a tournament in Europe a few months ago also? In Rome I think? His papa said recently he is the most gracious loser, but he can be very ungracious with crowds. I also remember USO a few years back. Haha.

Cvac curses the crowd and his opponent all the time. He should be fined for it because it's totally out of control.

cerebral is always how a player is described when they have few physical gifts or weapons which was definitely true with Fibak....also cerebral because from what I understand he was smart enough as a mentor/businessman to separate Ivan from a lot of his money with dubious investments so Novak may want to hold on to his wallet, and keep those book sales away from the Pole...maybe Janowicz should beware too:)

Sir, Djokovic cursed at crowd many times for being raucous. But never at opponent or Vemic as already said by Chico in his statement. The closest Djokovic was associated with swearing at opponent was in Rome, 2011 against Murray. But there too he was not swearing at Murray but at himself but clarky and her hater clan endorse it the other way. Even I curse a lot in normal friendly conversations but that does not mean I do the same with respected elder people.

I disagree with your assessment. The video was clear.

Then think about it as you like. I don't care and neither does Djokovic. There are a lot of instances even of Nadal that get under my skin. So, I believe it is your bias just like mine. But I try to ignore it rather than manifesting it on a forum. Argue with Chico. I am out of it.

All over the place LOL

In form Ralph BARELY beat him in Montreal.

I wasn't refering to this match in particular but all the losses/counterperfs Djoko had this year vs so many different players: Isner, Delpo, Berd, Dimitrov, Haas... Something is obviously off. I would have to go back a long time to find a season when his perfs in masters were so uniformly mediocre.
ETA: also the match vs Rafa in Montreal, it's not so much the loss itself as the manner of it. He went completely awol in the TB which is rather uncharacteristic for him.

It sure is, and it ain't Cvac's game right now, if you catch my drift.

All players curse. Don't waste your time with the haters would be my friendly advice. They're just looking for opportunities to stir the pot and honestly, nobody other than themselves even cares...

This seems like big news. I haven't followed tennis close enough to know how long he usually keeps a team. If he's totally regrouping, when was the last time he did that? Right before a grand slam seems like a bad time for big changes.

He wasn't the most physically gifted, so he was necessarily very crafty. Doubles was a real strong suit. He's very good at the net, having won 50+ doubles titles with Tom Okker and Kim Warwick. I'm not sure about his business dealings with Lendl. What's the back story there? He's an investment banker these days I believe. He is credited with really getting Polish tennis off the ground. I'm not sure if he'll ever work with Djokovic, but perhaps he could help him on the mental side a bit in terms of strategy and also help him with play in the frontcourt especially. Here's a bit more info on him.

Fibak almost single handedly spurred tennis interest in his native Poland... He is a man of diverse interests, including the law, economics, history, and above all, art... He owns the largest collection of Polish master painting outside of Poland... He hopes someday to turn his art collection into a museum where parents can take their children to learn about art, as his parents did with him... He won the 1975 ATP Most Improved Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards...

In 1985 Fibak founded the Polish Tennis Club (Polish Tennis Association of Southern California). He is also a prominent businessman and an avid art collector. Fibak spends his time between Warsaw and Monaco.

It's true many players drop the occasional swear word, but it's generally directed towards themselves. For example I have seen David Ferrer fined for saying, "puta". It was said to himself when he made a particularly poor shot, never the less he received a code violation and was fined. The kind of foul mouthed abuse that Djokovic hurls at the crowd and his opponents is something else and he continues to get away with it. Some people were outraged when Federer told the crowd to shut up. Whilst not defending him, it pales into insignificance when compared to Djokovic's tirades. So in answer to the last part of the quote. It is time that someone else cared.

FreeBird explained everything. Djokovic never cursed and Vemic and never cursed at any opponent including Murray. That yelling was not directed towards Murray at all. Most of Djokovic curses are directed towards himself anyway. Anyone who says differently is just hater trying to twist the truth and fabricate lies.
Especially since all of those who attack Djokovic here don't speak one word of Serbian and have no idea whatsoever what was Djokovic saying on those couple of occasions.

Anyway how did all these haters managed to turn a thread about Djokovic and Vemic to something like this?
