Djokovic won the Best European Athlete Title for 2018, beating footballer Luka Modric and F1 driver Louis Hamilton. He accrued 145 points in the 61st edition of the survey, with 23 press agencies on the continent.

Looking forward to watching him tomorrow, it's been a while. He is in the semifinal and will play either Thiem or Khachanov at the start of this year's Abu Dhabi exho.

As much as I like Nole, Ledecka should have topped this list. She has done something that was never done before.
But yeah, ajmo Nole!

Djoker and Stefan visited the Orthodox church in Nice.

Novak has become Serbian athlete of the year for the seventh time! In the past, he won the prize in 2007, 2010-11, 2013-15.

Love the traditions of the the Eastern churches. (Byzantine, Greek etc)

With such a rich heritage I don't understand why Novak got into all this new-age philosophical mumbo-jumbo.

With the start of another season, we have Novak Djokovic win another title. It may be an exhibition, but it certainly puts any stresses we had about the off season to bed.

Nole beat Khachanov (who should be improving by the day) in straights after their last encounter ended with the reverse being true.

After a 6-4 6-2 win over the Russian, Djokovic was tested against Anderson, but held his own. Djokovic's form in 2018 was not a fluke, and it looks to be continuing.

Here's to a 2019 full of exciting tennis, a healthy Djokovic, and plenty more wins for our favorite!

15emo!

Djokovic will play Dzumhur at the start of Doha, on New Year's Eve.

If successful, he will face Fucsovics or Copil in the second round. Basilashvili, Rublev, Seppi and Ramos-Vinolas are the potential quarterfinal opponents, while Khachanov and Wawrinka, who will play each other in the first round, are the most likely rivals in the semifinal. The highest seeded players in the other half of the draw are Thiem, Cecchinato, Goffin and Verdasco.

I have my eyes on Zverev. He joined the elite few who can beat Novak from the baseline, i. e. Nadal, Murray, Stan.
You know how Zverev can beat Djokovic at a major. 2 options. Djokovic doesn't care or Zverev strangles him with his golden chains.... There you go bud :).

And Federer never beat Novak from the baseline? :-D Let's just restrict it to slams. Fed was barely venturing to the net in any of the matches listed below, yet he was soundly beating him from the baseline:

2007 AO
2007 USO
2008 USO
2009 USO
2011 FO
2012 Wimbledon

Yeah, I've seen the highlights. The video is just titled "Novak Djokovic - best points." A point is good even if he doesn't win, right? :)

Well, it is subjective, right? Maybe that is how the maker of the video saw it. :)
