Does anyone know if Tecnifibre will be...

I emailed paul and he said,

"Thanks for your e-mail and continued interest in Tecnifibre strings. We do not have a new polyester to start 2008. We will continue to offer our premium polyester (Pro Red Code) and also our value/price point one called Polyspin. While we are not introducing a new poly for early 2008, we are introducing two new multifilament's called TGV and XR3. These have already been introduced in Europe and can be seen on our web-site.

Have a Happy New Year!"

My sentiments exactly.

27.5" with around a 300-310 swing weight would be a nice platform for modifications.

off topic in this section, but look into the TFight 320 XL. Don't know if TW plans on carrying those, but they are on the TF website. based on the 308 SW of the regular 320, I would think the extended version would fall into a similar (albeit a little higher) range.

hmmm, both the new multis are less expensive than X-1. I'm happy.

TGV comes in a 15L and 15, 1.35/1.40, and XR-3 comes in 16/1.30 only.

Supposedly XR3 is supposed to be the old TrC or TR Pro Control with an NRG based multifilament. I am just assuming that because the X-Line of Tecnifibre strings contain the same type of fibers that they use in NRG.

why so thick?

For more Durable, only one thing i can think in better way. But i don't think it's really good for play. I prefer smaller guage for spin. Anyway i've never played TF multi. Maybe their experiment shown up that big guage is the best. Who's know?
